Psalms 147

(По слав. 146) Алилуя! Да, добро е да пеем псалми на нашия Бог. Да, хвалебната песен е хубава и приятна.

Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

ГОСПОД съгражда Ерусалим, събира израилевите изгнаници.

The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

Изцелява съкрушените по сърце и превързва раните им.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Изброява множеството на звездите, нарича ги всички по име.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Велик е нашият Господ и с голяма мощ, разумът Му е неизмерим.

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

ГОСПОД издига смирените, а безбожните унижава до земята.

The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

Пейте на ГОСПОДА с благодарение, пейте псалми с арфа на нашия Бог,

Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

който покрива небесата с облаци, приготвя дъжд за земята, прави да расте трева по планините,

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

който дава храна на животните и на гарванчетата, които пискат към Него.

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

Той не се наслаждава в силата на коня, не благоволява в краката на мъжа.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

ГОСПОД благоволява в онези, които Му се боят, в онези, които се надяват на Неговата милост.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Слави ГОСПОДА, Ерусалиме! Хвали своя Бог, Сионе!

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

Защото Той укрепи резетата на портите ти, благослови децата ти сред теб.

For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

Установява мир в пределите ти, насища те с най-добрата пшеница.

He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

Изпраща заповедта Си на земята; словото Му тича много бързо.

He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

Дава сняг като вълна, разпръсва сланата като пепел,

He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

хвърля леда Си като отломъци — кой ще устои пред Неговия мраз?

He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

Изпраща словото Си и ги разтопява, прави вятъра Си да духа и водите текат.

He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

Възвестява словото Си на Яков, наредбите Си и присъдите Си — на Израил.

He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

Не е постъпил така с никой друг народ и те не са познали присъдите Му. Алилуя!

He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
