Matthew 9

Тогава Той се качи на един кораб, премина и дойде в Своя Си град.

And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

И ето, донесоха при Него един паралитик, сложен на постелка; и Иисус, като видя вярата им, каза на паралитика: Дерзай, синко, прощават ти се греховете.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

И ето, някои от книжниците си казаха: Този богохулства.

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

А Иисус, като видя мислите им, каза: Защо мислите зло в сърцата си?

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

Защото кое е по-лесно? Да кажа: прощават ти се греховете; или да кажа: стани и ходи?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

Но за да познаете, че Човешкият Син има власт на земята да прощава греховете – тогава каза на паралитика: Стани, вдигни постелката си и иди у дома си!

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

И той стана и отиде у дома си.

And he arose, and departed to his house.

А множествата, като видяха това, ги обзе страх и прославиха Бога, който беше дал такава власт на хората.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

И като минаваше оттам, Иисус видя един човек на име Матей, който седеше в бирничеството, и му каза: Следвай Ме. И той стана и Го последва.

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

И когато беше седнал на трапезата в къщата, ето, много бирници и грешници дойдоха и насядаха с Иисус и с учениците Му.

And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

И фарисеите, като видяха това, казаха на учениците Му: Защо вашият Учител яде с бирниците и грешниците?

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

А Той, като чу това, каза: Здравите нямат нужда от лекар, а болните.

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Но идете и се научете какво значи това: ?Милост искам, а не жертва“, защото не съм дошъл да призова праведните, а грешните (на покаяние).

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Тогава при Него дойдоха учениците на Йоан и казаха: Защо ние и фарисеите постим много, а Твоите ученици не постят?

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

Иисус им каза: Могат ли сватбарите да жалеят, докато младоженецът е с тях? Ще дойде обаче време, когато младоженецът ще им се отнеме, и тогава ще постят.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

Никой не кърпи стара дреха с нов плат; защото това, което трябва да я закърпи, отдира от дрехата и съдраното става по-лошо.

No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

Нито наливат ново вино в стари мехове; иначе меховете се спукват, виното изтича и меховете се изхабяват. Но наливат ново вино в нови мехове, та и двете се запазват.

Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Когато им говореше това, ето, един началник дойде, падна пред Него, и казваше: Дъщеря ми току-що умря; но ела и положи ръката Си на нея, и тя ще оживее!

While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

И Иисус стана и го последва, а също и учениците Му.

And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.

И ето, една жена, която имаше кръвотечение от дванадесет години, се приближи отзад и се допря до полите на дрехата Му,

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

защото си казваше: Ако се допра до дрехата Му, ще оздравея.

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

А Иисус, като се обърна и я видя, каза: Дерзай, дъще, твоята вяра те изцели. И от същия час жената оздравя.

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

И когато Иисус дойде в къщата на началника и видя свирачите и разтревожения народ, каза:

And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

Идете си, защото момичето не е умряло, а спи. А те Му се присмиваха.

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

И като изпъдиха народа, Той влезе и я хвана за ръката; и момичето стана.

But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

И това се разчу по цялата онази страна.

And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

А когато Иисус си отиваше оттам, Го последваха двама слепи, които викаха и казваха: Смили се за нас, Сине Давидов!

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

И като влезе вкъщи, слепите се приближиха до Него; и Иисус им каза: Вярвате ли, че мога да сторя това? Те Му казаха: Да, Господи.

And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

Тогава Той се допря до очите им и каза: Нека ви бъде според вярата ви.

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

И очите им се отвориха. А Иисус им заръча строго, като каза: Внимавайте никой да не узнае това!

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

А те, като излязоха, Го разгласиха по цялата онази страна.

But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

И когато те излизаха, ето, доведоха при Него един ням човек, обладан от демон.

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

И след като бе изгонен демонът, немият проговори. И множествата се чудеха и казваха: Никога не се е виждало такова нещо в Израил!

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

А фарисеите казваха: Чрез началника на демоните Той изгонва демоните.

But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

И Иисус обикаляше всичките градове и села и поучаваше в синагогите им, и проповядваше благовестието на царството, и изцеляваше всякаква болест и всякаква немощ.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

А когато видя множествата, се смили над тях, защото бяха изнемощели и пръснати като овце, които нямат пастир.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Тогава каза на учениците Си: Жетвата е изобилна, а работниците – малко;

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

затова, молете се на Господаря на жетвата да изпрати работници на жетвата Си.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
