John 3

Между фарисеите имаше един човек на име Никодим, юдейски началник.

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Той дойде при Него през нощта и Му каза: Равви, знаем, че си учител, дошъл от Бога; защото никой не може да върши тези знамения, които Ти вършиш, ако Бог не е с него.

The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Иисус в отговор му каза: Истина, истина ти казвам: ако не се роди някой отново, не може да види Божието царство.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Никодим Му каза: Как може стар човек да се роди? Може ли втори път да влезе в утробата на майка си и да се роди?

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Иисус отговори: Истина, истина ти казвам: ако не се роди някой от вода и Дух, не може да влезе в Божието царство.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Роденото от плътта е плът, а роденото от Духа е дух.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Не се чуди, че ти казах: Трябва да се родите отново.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Вятърът духа, където си иска, и чуваш шума му, но не знаеш откъде идва и накъде отива; така е всеки, който се е родил от Духа.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Никодим в отговор Му каза: Как може да бъде това?

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Иисус му отговори и каза: Ти си израилев учител и не знаеш ли това?

Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Истина, истина ти казвам: ние говорим това, което знаем, и свидетелстваме за това, което сме видели, но вие не приемате Нашето свидетелство.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Ако ви казах земните работи и не вярвате, как ще повярвате, ако ви кажа небесните?

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

И никой не е възлязъл на небето, освен Този, който е слязъл от небето, Човешкият Син, (който е на небето).

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

И както Мойсей издигна змията в пустинята, така трябва да бъде издигнат Човешкият Син,

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

че всеки, който вярва в Него (да не погине, а) да има вечен живот.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Защото Бог толкова възлюби света, че даде Своя Единороден Син, за да не погине нито един, който вярва в Него, а да има вечен живот.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Понеже Бог не изпрати Сина Си на света, за да съди света, а за да бъде светът спасен чрез Него.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Който вярва в Него, не е осъден; който не вярва, е вече осъден, защото не е повярвал в Името на Единородния Божи Син.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Но това е осъждането, че светлината дойде на света, но хората обикнаха тъмнината повече от светлината, понеже делата им бяха зли.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Понеже всеки, който върши зло, мрази светлината и не отива към светлината, за да не би да се открият делата му;

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

а който постъпва според истината, отива към светлината, за да се явят делата му, понеже са извършени в Бога.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

След това Иисус дойде с учениците Си в юдейската земя; и там остана с тях и кръщаваше.

After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judæa; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

А Йоан също кръщаваше в Енон, близо до Салим, защото там имаше много вода; и отиваха и се кръщаваха.

And John also was baptizing in Ænon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Понеже Йоан още не беше хвърлен в тъмница.

For John was not yet cast into prison.

Тогава възникна спор от страна на учениците на Йоан с един юдеин относно очистването.

Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

И дойдоха при Йоан и му казаха: Равви, Онзи, който беше с теб отвъд Йордан, за когото ти свидетелства, ето, Той кръщава и всички отиват при Него.

And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

Йоан в отговор каза: Човек не може да приеме нищо, ако не му е дадено от небето.

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

Вие сами сте ми свидетели, че казах: Не аз съм Христос, но съм изпратен пред Него.

Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

Младоженецът е, който има невястата, а приятелят на младоженеца, който стои и го слуша, се радва твърде много поради гласа на младоженеца. И така, тази моя радост се изпълни.

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Той трябва да расте, а пък аз – да се смалявам.

He must increase, but I must decrease.

Онзи, който идва от горе, е над всички; а който е от земята, е земен и земно говори. Онзи, който идва от небето, е над всички.

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

Каквото е видял и чул, за него свидетелства; но никой не приема свидетелството Му.

And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

Който е приел Неговото свидетелство, е потвърдил с печата си, че Бог е истинен.

He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

Защото Този, когото Бог е пратил, говори Божиите думи; защото Бог не дава Духа с мярка.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

Отец люби Сина и е предал всичко в Неговата ръка.

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Който вярва в Сина, има вечен живот; но който не се покорява на Сина, няма да види живот, а Божият гняв остава върху него.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
