А оце виходьки з округи, що прийшли з полону вигнання, яких вигнав був Навуходоносор, цар вавилонський, до Вавилону, і вони повернулися до Єрусалиму та Юдеї, кожен до міста свого,

Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

ті, що прийшли були з Зоровавелем, Ісусом, Неємією, Сераєю, Реелаєю, Мордехаєм, Білшаном, Міспаром, Біґваєм, Рехумом, Бааною. Число людей Ізраїлевого народу:

Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

синів Пар'ошових дві тисячі сто сімдесят і два,

The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

синів Шефатіїних три сотні сімдесят і два,

The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

синів Арахових сім сотень сімдесят і п'ять,

The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.

синів Пахат-Моавових, із синів Ісусових та Йоавових дві тисячі вісім сотень і дванадцять,

The children of Pahath–moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

синів Еламових тисяча двісті п'ятдесят і чотири,

The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

синів Заттуєвих дев'ять сотень і сорок і п'ять,

The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.

синів Заккеєвих сім сотень і шістдесят,

The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.

синів Банієвих шість сотень сорок і два,

The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two.

синів Беваєвих шість сотень двадцять і три,

The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.

синів Азґадових тисяча двісті двадцять і два,

синів Адонікамових шість сотень шістдесят і шість,

синів Біґваєвих дві тисячі п'ятдесят і шість,

The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six.

синів Адінових чотири сотні п'ятдесят і чотири,

The children of Adin, four hundred fifty and four.

синів Атерових, від Єзекії дев'ятдесят і вісім,

The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.

синів Бецаєвих три сотні двадцять і три,

The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three.

синів Йориних сто й дванадцять,

The children of Jorah, an hundred and twelve.

The children of Hashum, two hundred twenty and three.

синів Ґіббарових дев'ятдесят і п'ять,

The children of Gibbar, ninety and five.

The children of Nebo, fifty and two.

виходьків з Маґбішу сто п'ятдесят і шість,

The children of Magbish, an hundred fifty and six.

виходьків з Еламу Другого тисяча двісті п'ятдесят і чотири,

The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

виходьків з Харіму три сотні й двадцять,

The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

виходьків з Лоду, Хадіду та Оно сім сотень двадцять і п'ять,

The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five.

виходьків з Єрихону три сотні сорок і п'ять,

The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

виходьків з Сенаї три тисячі і шість сотень і тридцять.

The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.

The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.

синів Іммерових тисяча п'ятдесят і два,

The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.

синів Пашхурових тисяча двісті сорок і сім,

The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.

синів Харімових тисяча й сімнадцять.

The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

Левитів: синів Ісусових і Кадміїлових, з синів Гадавії сімдесят і чотири.

The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four.

Співаків: синів Асафових сто двадцять і вісім.

The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred twenty and eight.

Синів придверних: синів Шаллумових, синів Атерових, синів Талмонових, синів Аккувових, синів Хатітиних, синів Шоваєвих, усіх сто тридцять і дев'ять.

The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all an hundred thirty and nine.

Храмових підданців: синів Ціхіних, синів Хасуфіних, синів Таббаотових,

The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

синів Керосових, синів Сіагіних, синів Падонових,

The children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon,

синів Леваниних, синів Хаґавиних, синів Аккувових,

The children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub,

синів Хаґавових, синів Самлаєвих, синів Хананових,

The children of Hagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Hanan,

синів Ґідделових, синів Ґахарових, синів Реаїних,

The children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah,

синів Рецінових, синів Некодиних, синів Ґаззамових,

The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,

синів Уззиних, синів Пасеахових, синів Бесаєвих,

The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai,

синів Асниних, синів Меунімових, синів Нефусімових,

The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim,

синів Бакбукових, синів Хакуфиних, синів Хархурових,

The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

синів Бацлутових, синів Мехідиних, синів Харшиних,

The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

синів Баркосових, синів Сісриних, синів Темахових,

The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,

синів Незіхових, синів Хатіфиних,

The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

синів Соломонових рабів: синів Сотаєвих, синів Соферетових, синів Терудиних,

The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

Синів Яалиних, синів Дарконових, синів Ґідделових,

The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

синів Шефатіїних, синів Хаттілових, синів Похерет-Гаццеваїмових, синів Амієвих,

The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.

усього цих храмових підданців та синів Соломонових рабів три сотні дев'ятдесят і два.

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

А оце ті, що прийшли з Тел-Мелаху, з Тел-Харші, Керув-Аддану та Іммеру, та не могли довести роду батьків своїх та свого насіння, чи вони з Ізраїля:

And these were they which went up from Tel–melah, Tel–harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

синів Делаїних, синів Товійїних, синів Некодиних шість сотень п'ятдесят і два.

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

І з синів священичих: сини Ховайїні, сини Коцові, сини Барзіллая, що взяв жінку з дочок ґілеадянина Барзіллая, і звався їхнім ім'ям.

And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

Вони шукали свого запису родоводу, та не знайшли, і були вони вилучені зо священства,

These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

а намісник сказав їм, щоб вони не їли зо Святого Святих, аж поки не стане священик до уріму та тумміму.

And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

Усього збору разом сорок дві тисячі три сотні шістдесят,

The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

окрім їхніх рабів та невільниць, цих було сім тисяч три сотні тридцять і сім; а їхніх співаків та співачок двісті.

Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

Їхніх коней було сім сотень тридцять і шість, їхніх мулів двісті сорок і п'ять,

Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;

їхніх верблюдів чотири сотні тридцять і п'ять, ослів шість тисяч сім сотень і двадцять.

Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

А з голів батьківських родів, коли вони прийшли до Господнього дому, що в Єрусалимі, то вони жертвували до Божого дому, щоб поставити його на його становищі.

And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

За своєю спроможністю вони дали до скарбу на працю: золота шістдесят одну тисячу дарейків, а срібла п'ять тисяч мін, а священичих убрань сто.

They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.

І осілися священики й Левити, та з народу, і співаки, і придверні, і храмові підданці по своїх містах, і ввесь Ізраїль по своїх містах.

So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
