Isaiah 33

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Горко на теб, който опустошаваш, а ти не си бил опустошен, който грабиш, а не си бил ограбен! Когато свършиш да опустошаваш, ще бъдеш опустошен и когато свършиш да грабиш, ще бъдеш ограбен.

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

ГОСПОДИ, смили се за нас, Теб чакаме! Бъди им сила всяка сутрин и спасението ни във време на беда!

At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.

От шума на метежа побягнаха племената, от Твоето извисяване се разпръснаха народите.

And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

И плячката ви ще се събере, както събират гъсениците; ще скочат върху нея, както скача скакалец.

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

ГОСПОД е превъзвишен, защото обитава нависоко; изпълнил е Сион с правосъдие и правда.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

И ще имаш сигурни времена, изобилно спасение, мъдрост и знание. Страхът от ГОСПОДА е съкровището му.

Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.

Ето, силните им викат навън, посланиците на мира плачат горчиво.

The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.

Пътищата запустяха, няма вече минаващ пътник. Той наруши договора, презря градовете, не зачете човека.

The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

Земята жалее и чезне, Ливан е посрамен и вехне, Сарон прилича на пустиня, Васан и Кармил отърсват листата си.

Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

Сега ще стана, казва ГОСПОД, сега ще се надигна, сега ще се извися.

Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

Слама ще заченете и плява ще родите; диханието ви като огън ще ви пояде.

And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

И народите ще бъдат като горяща вар, като отсечени тръни, които изгарят в огън.

Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.

Слушайте, вие далечни, какво съм сторил, и вие близки, познайте силата Ми.

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Грешните в Сион се боят, трепет обзема безбожните: Кой от нас може да обитава при огън пояждащ? Кой от нас може да обитава при вечни пожари?

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

Който ходи праведно и говори правдиво, който презира печалбата от насилства, който отърсва ръцете си, за да не приема подкупи, който запушва ушите си, за да не чува за кръвопролитие и затваря очите си, за да не гледа зло —

He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

той ще живее нависоко, непристъпните скали ще бъдат крепостта му, хлябът му ще се даде, водата му няма да липсва.

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Очите ти ще гледат царя в красотата му, ще видят обширна земя.

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

Сърцето ти ще си спомня за миналия ужас: Къде е онзи, който броеше? Къде е онзи, който теглеше? Къде е онзи, който броеше кулите?

Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

Няма вече да видиш свирепия народ, народ с неразбираем език, който не схващаш, с гъгнив език, който не разбираш.

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

Погледни Сион, града на празниците ни! Очите ти ще видят Ерусалим — безгрижно селище, шатър, който няма да се мести, чиито колчета няма да бъдат извадени навеки и никое от въжетата му няма да се скъса.

But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

А там Могъщият, ГОСПОД, ще ни бъде място на реки, на широки потоци. Там няма да върви кораб с гребла и няма да премине великолепен кораб.

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Защото ГОСПОД е наш съдия, ГОСПОД е наш законодател, ГОСПОД е наш цар — Той ще ни спаси!

Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

Въжетата ти се разхлабиха, не могат да крепят мачтата ти, не могат да опъват платната. И тогава раздели изобилната плячка от грабежа, недъгавите разграбиха плячка.

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

И жителят няма да каже: Болен съм. На народа, който живее в него, ще се прости беззаконието.
