Psalms 41

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Для дириґетна хору. Псалом Давидів.

The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Блаженний, хто дбає про вбогого, в день нещастя Господь порятує його!

The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

Господь берегтиме його та його оживлятиме, буде блаженний такий на землі, і Він не видасть його на поталу його ворогам!

I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

На ложі недуги подасть йому сили Господь, усе ложе йому перемінить в недузі його.

Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

Я промовив був: Господи, май же Ти милість до мене, вилікуй душу мою, бо я перед Тобою згрішив!

And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

Вороги мої кажуть на мене лихе: Коли вмре та загине імення його?

All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

А коли хто приходить відвідати, мовить марне: його серце збирає для себе лихе, і як вийде надвір, то говорить про те...

An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

Всі мої вороги між собою шепочуться разом на мене, на мене лихе замишляють:

Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Негідна річ тисне його, а що він поклався то більше не встане!...

But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

Навіть приятель мій, на якого надіявся я, що мій хліб споживав, підняв проти мене п'яту!

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

Але, Господи, помилуй мене, і мене підійми, і я їм відплачу,

And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

із того довідаюся, що Ти любиш мене, коли надо мною сурмити не буде мій ворог.

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

він бачить усе, що високе, він цар над усім пишним звір'ям! А я через невинність мою Ти підсилиш мене, і перед обличчям Своїм ти поставиш навіки мене! Благословенний Господь, Бог ізраїлів, від віку й до віку! Амінь і амінь!
