Job 32

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Böylece bu üç kişi Eyüp’e yanıt vermekten vazgeçti, çünkü Eyüp kendi doğruluğundan emindi.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Ram ailesinden Bûzlu Barakel oğlu Elihu Eyüp’e çok öfkelendi. Çünkü Eyüp kendini Tanrı’dan haklı görüyordu.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

Elihu Eyüp’ün üç arkadaşına da öfkelendi, çünkü Eyüp’ü suçlamalarına karşın sağlam bir yanıt bulamamışlardı.

Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

Elihu Eyüp’le konuşmak için sırasını beklemişti, çünkü ötekiler yaşça kendisinden büyüktü.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

Bu üç kişinin başka bir şey söyleyemeyeceğini görünce öfkesi alevlendi.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

‘Çok gün görenler konuşsun’ dedim, ‘Çok yıl yaşayanlar bilgeliği öğretsin.’

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Oysa insana ruh, Her Şeye Gücü Yeten’in soluğu akıl verir.

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Akıl yaşta değil baştadır. Adaleti anlamak yaşa bakmaz.

Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

“Bu yüzden, ‘Beni dinleyin’ diyorum, Ben de bildiğimi söyleyeyim.

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

Siz konuşurken ben bekledim, Siz ne diyeceğinizi araştırırken Düşüncelerinizi dinledim.

Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

Bütün dikkatimi size çevirdim. Ama hiçbiriniz Eyüp’ün haksızlığını kanıtlayamadı, Onun söylediklerine karşılık veremedi.

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

‘Biz bilgeliğe eriştik, Bırakın Tanrı onu haksız çıkarsın, insan değil’ demeyin.

Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

Ama Eyüp’ün sözlerinin hedefi ben değildim, Bu yüzden onu sizin sözlerinizle yanıtlamayacağım.

They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

“Onlar yıldı, yanıt veremiyorlar artık, Söyleyecek şeyleri kalmadı.

When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

Onlar konuşmuyor diye ben beklemeli miyim, Duruyor, yanıt vermiyorlar diye?

I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

Benim de söyleyecek sözüm var, Ben de bildiğimi söyleyeceğim.

For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

Çünkü içim dolu, İçimdeki ruh beni zorluyor.

Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

İçim açılmamış şarap gibi, Yeni şarap tulumları gibi patlamak üzere.

I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

Konuşup rahatlamalıyım, Ağzımı açıp yanıtlamalıyım.

Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

Kimseye ayrıcalık göstermeyecek, Kimseye yaltaklanmayacağım.

For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

Çünkü yaltaklanmayı bilsem, Yaratıcım beni hemen yok ederdi.
