Psalms 9

За първия певец. По музиката на Мут Лабен. Псалм на Давид. Ще Те славословя, ГОСПОДИ, от все сърце, ще разказвам за всичките Твои чудни дела.

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

Ще се радвам и ликувам в Теб, ще възпявам Името Ти, Всевишни,

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

когато враговете ми се върнат назад, паднат и погинат пред Твоето присъствие.

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

Защото Ти защити правото ми и делото ми, Ти си седнал на престола и съдиш справедливо.

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

Порицал си народите, погубил си безбожния, името им изличил си за вечни векове.

Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

Врагът е унищожен, в развалини навеки; и унищожил си градове и споменът за тях загина.

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

Но ГОСПОД седи на Своя трон до века, приготвил е престола Си за съд,

But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

и Той ще съди света в справедливост, ще отсъди право за народите.

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

И ГОСПОД ще бъде прибежище на угнетените, прибежище във времена на скръб.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Които познават Твоето Име, ще се уповават на Теб, защото Ти, ГОСПОДИ, не си изоставил тези, които Те търсят.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Пейте псалми на ГОСПОДА, който обитава в Сион, възвестете делата Му между народите!

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

Защото Той търси сметка за кръв, помни загиналите, викЁ на страдащите не забравя.

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

Смили се над мен, ГОСПОДИ! Виж скръбта ми, причинена от онези, които ме мразят, Ти, който ме повдигаш от портите на смъртта,

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

за да разкажа за всички Твои хваления в портите на сионската дъщеря, да ликувам заради спасението Ти.

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

Народите затънаха в ямата, която направиха, кракът им се хвана в мрежата, която скриха.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

ГОСПОД се е изявил, Той извършва съд. Безбожният се впримчва в делото на ръцете си. (Игаион . Села.)

The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

Безбожните ще се обърнат към Шеол, всички народи, които забравят Бога.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Защото сиромахът няма да бъде вечно забравен, нито надеждата на смирените ще загине навеки.

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

Стани, ГОСПОДИ, нека не надделява човек, нека бъдат съдени народите пред Теб.

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

Докарай върху тях страх, ГОСПОДИ, нека знаят народите, че са само хора! (Села.)

Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
