Psalms 116

(По слав. 115) Любя ГОСПОДА, защото Той чу гласа ми и молбите ми,

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

защото Той приклони ухото Си към мен, и аз ще Го призовавам, докато съм жив.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Връзките на смъртта ме обвиха и притесненията на Шеол ме достигнаха; намерих нещастие и скръб.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Тогава призовах ГОСПОДНОТО Име: Моля Те, ГОСПОДИ, избави душата ми!

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Милостив е ГОСПОД и праведен и нашият Бог е състрадателен.

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

ГОСПОД пази простодушните — бях в беда и Той ме спаси.

The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Върни се, душо моя, в покоя си, защото ГОСПОД ти стори добро.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Понеже си избавил душата ми от смърт, очите ми от сълзи и краката ми от подхлъзване,

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

аз ще ходя пред ГОСПОДА в земята на живите.

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Повярвах, затова говорих. Бях много наскърбен.

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

В тревогата си казах: Всеки човек е лъжлив!

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Какво да върна на ГОСПОДА за всичките Му благодеяния към мен?

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

Ще вдигна чашата на спасението и ще призова Името на ГОСПОДА.

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

Ще изпълня обещанията си на ГОСПОДА, сега, пред целия Негов народ.

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Скъпоценна е в очите на ГОСПОДА смъртта на Неговите светии.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Моля Те, ГОСПОДИ, защото аз съм Твой слуга; Твой слуга съм, син на Твоята слугиня. Ти си развързал връзките ми!

O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

На Теб ще принеса жертва на благодарност и ще призова Името на ГОСПОДА.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

Ще изпълня обещанията си на ГОСПОДА, сега, пред целия Негов народ,

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

в дворовете на ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, сред теб, Ерусалиме. Алилуя!

In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
