Job 12

Тогава Йов отговори и каза:

And Job answered and said,

Наистина, само вие сте хора и с вас ще умре мъдростта!

No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

Но и аз имам разум, както и вие, не съм по-долен от вас. И такива работи кой не ги знае?

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

Станах за посмешище на ближния си, човекът, който призоваваше Бога, и Той му отговаряше, праведният, непорочният е за посмешище.

I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

Бедствието е презряно в мислите на онзи, който е в безопасност; то е готово за онези, чийто крак се подхлъзва.

He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

Шатрите на разбойниците благоденстват и тези, които предизвикват Бога, са в безопасност, в ръцете на които Бог дава изобилие.

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

Но попитай сега животните и те ще те научат; и небесните птици и те ще ти кажат;

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

или говори на земята и тя ще те научи; и морските риби и те ще ти разкажат.

Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

Кой от всички тях не разбира, че ръката на ГОСПОДА е сторила това,

Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

в чиято ръка е душата на всичко живо и дишането на всяка човешка плът?

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Ухото не изпитва ли думите, както небцето вкусва храната си?

Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?

Мъдростта е у старците и разумът е в дългия живот.

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

У Него са мъдрост и сила, Той има съвет и разум.

With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

Ето, Той събаря и не се съгражда вече; затваря над човека и не се отваря.

Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

Ето, Той задържа водите и те пресъхват; изпраща ги и те разоряват земята.

Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

В Него са сила и мъдрост, измаменият и измамникът са Негови.

With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

Откарва съветници ограбени и прави съдии на глупци.

He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

Разхлабва връзките на царете и опасва с пояс слабините им.

He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

Откарва свещеници ограбени, поваля силни.

He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

Той взема думата на ползващите се с доверие, преценката на старите отнема.

He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

Излива презрение върху благородните и пояса на силните разхлабва.

He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

Открива дълбоките неща от тъмнината и изважда на светлина смъртната сянка.

He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

Възвеличава народите и ги погубва, разширява народите и ги отвежда.

He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

Отнема разума на началниците на земните народи и ги прави да се скитат в пустош без път.

He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

Те се лутат в мрака без светлина и Той ги прави да залитат като пияни хора.

They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
