Philippians 4

چنانچہ میرے پیارے بھائیو، جن کا آرزومند مَیں ہوں اور جو میری مسرت کا باعث اور میرا تاج ہیں، خداوند میں ثابت قدم رہیں۔ عزیزو،

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

مَیں یوؤدیہ اور سنتخے سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ وہ خداوند میں ایک جیسی سوچ رکھیں۔

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

ہاں میرے ہم خدمت بھائی، میری آپ سے گزارش ہے کہ آپ اُن کی مدد کریں۔ کیونکہ وہ اللہ کی خوش خبری پھیلانے کی جد و جہد میں میرے ساتھ خدمت کرتی رہی ہیں، اُس مقابلے میں جس میں کلیمینس اور میرے وہ باقی مددگار بھی شریک تھے جن کے نام کتابِ حیات میں درج ہیں۔

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

ہر وقت خداوند میں خوشی منائیں۔ ایک بار پھر کہتا ہوں، خوشی منائیں۔

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

آپ کی نرم دلی تمام لوگوں پر ظاہر ہو۔ یاد رکھیں کہ خداوند آنے کو ہے۔

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

اپنی کسی بھی فکر میں اُلجھ کر پریشان نہ ہو جائیں بلکہ ہر حالت میں دعا اور التجا کر کے اپنی درخواستیں اللہ کے سامنے پیش کریں۔ دھیان رکھیں کہ آپ یہ شکرگزاری کی روح میں کریں۔

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

پھر اللہ کی سلامتی جو سمجھ سے باہر ہے آپ کے دلوں اور خیالات کو مسیح عیسیٰ میں محفوظ رکھے گی۔

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

بھائیو، ایک آخری بات، جو کچھ سچا ہے، جو کچھ شریف ہے، جو کچھ راست ہے، جو کچھ مُقدّس ہے، جو کچھ پسندیدہ ہے، جو کچھ عمدہ ہے، غرض، اگر کوئی اخلاقی یا قابلِ تعریف بات ہو تو اُس کا خیال رکھیں۔

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

جو کچھ آپ نے میرے وسیلے سے سیکھ لیا، حاصل کر لیا، سن لیا یا دیکھ لیا ہے اُس پر عمل کریں۔ پھر سلامتی کا خدا آپ کے ساتھ ہو گا۔

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

مَیں خداوند میں نہایت ہی خوش ہوا کہ اب آخرکار آپ کی میرے لئے فکرمندی دوبارہ جاگ اُٹھی ہے۔ ہاں، مجھے پتا ہے کہ آپ پہلے بھی فکرمند تھے، لیکن آپ کو اِس کا اظہار کرنے کا موقع نہیں ملا تھا۔

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

مَیں یہ اپنی کسی ضرورت کی وجہ سے نہیں کہہ رہا، کیونکہ مَیں نے ہر حالت میں خوش رہنے کا راز سیکھ لیا ہے۔

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

مجھے دبائے جانے کا تجربہ ہوا ہے اور ہر چیز کثرت سے میسر ہونے کا بھی۔ مجھے ہر حالت سے خوب واقف کیا گیا ہے، سیر ہونے سے اور بھوکا رہنے سے بھی، ہر چیز کثرت سے میسر ہونے سے اور ضرورت مند ہونے سے بھی۔

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

مسیح میں مَیں سب کچھ کرنے کے قابل ہوں، کیونکہ وہی مجھے تقویت دیتا رہتا ہے۔

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

توبھی اچھا تھا کہ آپ میری مصیبت میں شریک ہوئے۔

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

آپ جو فلپی کے رہنے والے ہیں خود جانتے ہیں کہ اُس وقت جب مسیح کی منادی کا کام آپ کے علاقے میں شروع ہوا تھا اور مَیں صوبہ مکدُنیہ سے نکل آیا تھا تو صرف آپ کی جماعت پورے حساب کتاب کے ساتھ پیسے دے کر میری خدمت میں شریک ہوئی۔

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

اُس وقت بھی جب مَیں تھسلُنیکے شہر میں تھا آپ نے کئی بار میری ضروریات پوری کرنے کے لئے کچھ بھیج دیا۔

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

کہنے کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ مَیں آپ سے کچھ پانا چاہتا ہوں، بلکہ میری شدید خواہش یہ ہے کہ آپ کے دینے سے آپ ہی کو اللہ سے کثرت کا سود مل جائے۔

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

یہی میری رسید ہے۔ مَیں نے پوری رقم وصول پائی ہے بلکہ اب میرے پاس ضرورت سے زیادہ ہے۔ جب سے مجھے اِپَفرُدِتس کے ہاتھ آپ کا ہدیہ مل گیا ہے میرے پاس بہت کچھ ہے۔ یہ خوشبودار اور قابلِ قبول قربانی اللہ کو پسندیدہ ہے۔

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

جواب میں میرا خدا اپنی اُس جلالی دولت کے موافق جو مسیح عیسیٰ میں ہے آپ کی تمام ضروریات پوری کرے۔

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

اللہ ہمارے باپ کا جلال ازل سے ابد تک ہو۔ آمین۔

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

تمام مقامی مُقدّسین کو مسیح عیسیٰ میں میرا سلام دینا۔ جو بھائی میرے ساتھ ہیں وہ آپ کو سلام کہتے ہیں۔

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

یہاں کے تمام مُقدّسین آپ کو سلام کہتے ہیں، خاص کر شہنشاہ کے گھرانے کے بھائی اور بہنیں۔

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

خداوند عیسیٰ مسیح کا فضل آپ کی روح کے ساتھ رہے۔ آمین۔
