Psalms 26

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

Давидів. Суди мене, Господи, бо ходив я в своїй непорочності, і надіявсь на Господа, тому не спіткнуся!

Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

Перевір мене, Господи, і випробуй мене, перетопи мої нирки та серце моє,

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

бо перед очима моїми Твоє милосердя, і в правді Твоїй я ходив.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

Не сидів я з людьми неправдивими, і не буду ходити з лукавими,

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

я громаду злочинців зненавидів, і з грішниками я сидіти не буду.

I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

Умию в невинності руки свої, й обійду Твого, Господи, жертівника,

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

щоб хвалу Тобі голосно виголосити, та звістити про всі чуда Твої.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Господи, полюбив я оселю дому Твого, і місце перебування слави Твоєї.

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

Не губи Ти моєї душі з нечестивими, та мого життя з кровожерами,

In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

що в руках їх злодійство, що їхня правиця наповнена підкупом.

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

А я буду ходити в своїй непорочності, визволь мене та помилуй мене!

My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Нога моя стала на рівному місці, на зборах я благословлятиму Господа!
