Psalms 116

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Χαιρω οτι ο Κυριος εισηκουσε της φωνης μου, των δεησεων μου

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

οτι εκλινε το ωτιον αυτου προς εμε και ενοσω ζω, θελω επικαλεισθαι αυτον.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Πονοι θανατου με περιεκυκλωσαν, και στενοχωριαι του αδου με ευρηκαν θλιψιν και πονον απηντησα.

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Και επεκαλεσθην το ονομα του Κυριου ω Κυριε, λυτρωσον την ψυχην μου.

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Ελεημων ο Κυριος και δικαιος και ευσπλαγχνος ο Θεος ημων.

The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Ο Κυριος φυλαττει τους απλους εταλαιπωρηθην, και με εσωσεν.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Επιστρεψον, ψυχη μου, εις την αναπαυσιν σου, διοτι ο Κυριος σε ευηργετησε.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Διοτι ελυτρωσας την ψυχην μου εκ θανατου, τους οφθαλμους μου απο δακρυων, τους ποδας μου απο ολισθηματος.

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Θελω περιπατει ενωπιον του Κυριου εν γη ζωντων.

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

Επιστευσα, δια τουτο ελαλησα εγω ημην σφοδρα τεθλιμμενος

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

εγω ειπα εν τη εκπληξει μου, πας ανθρωπος ειναι ψευστης.

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

Τι να ανταποδωσω εις τον Κυριον, δια πασας τας ευεργεσιας αυτου τας προς εμε;

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

θελω λαβει το ποτηριον της σωτηριας και θελω επικαλεσθη το ονομα του Κυριου.

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Τας ευχας μου θελω αποδωσει εις τον Κυριον, τωρα ενωπιον παντος του λαου αυτου.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Πολυτιμος ενωπιον του Κυριου ο θανατος των οσιων αυτου.

O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Ναι, Κυριε διοτι ειμαι δουλος σου ειμαι δουλος σου, υιος της δουλης σου συ ελυσας τα δεσμα μου.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

Εις σε θελω θυσιασει θυσιαν αινεσεως και το ονομα του Κυριου θελω επικαλεσθη.

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

Τας ευχας μου θελω αποδωσει εις τον Κυριον, τωρα εμπροσθεν παντος του λαου αυτου

In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

εν ταις αυλαις του οικου του Κυριου, εν μεσω σου, Ιερουσαλημ. Αλληλουια.
