Psalms 26

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

Richte mich, Jehova! denn in meiner Lauterkeit habe ich gewandelt; und auf Jehova habe ich vertraut, ich werde nicht wanken.

Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

Prüfe mich, Jehova, und erprobe mich; läutere meine Nieren und mein Herz!

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

Denn deine Güte ist vor meinen Augen, und in deiner Wahrheit wandle ich.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

Nicht habe ich gesessen bei falschen Leuten, und mit Hinterlistigen ging ich nicht um.

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Ich habe die Versammlung der Übeltäter gehaßt, und bei Gesetzlosen saß ich nicht.

I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

Ich wasche in Unschuld meine Hände, und umgehe deinen Altar, Jehova,

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

Um hören zu lassen die Stimme des Lobes, und um zu erzählen alle deine Wundertaten.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Jehova, ich habe geliebt die Wohnung deines Hauses und den Wohnort deiner Herrlichkeit.

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

Raffe meine Seele nicht weg mit Sündern, noch mein Leben mit Blutmenschen,

In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

In deren Händen böses Vornehmen, und deren Rechte voll Bestechung ist!

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

Ich aber wandle in meiner Lauterkeit. Erlöse mich und sei mir gnädig!

My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Mein Fuß steht auf ebenem Boden: Jehova werde ich preisen in den Versammlungen.
