Psalms 26

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

خداوندا، از من حمایت فرما، زیرا در کمال راستی رفتار نموده و بدون تردید به تو توکّل کرده‌‌ام.

Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

ای خداوند، مرا امتحان کن و بیازما! قلب و وجدان مرا پاک گردان.

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

محبّت سرشار تو راهنمای من است، من در حضور تو با وفاداری رفتار می‌کنم.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

با اشخاص بد، همنشین نیستم و با مردم ریاکار معاشرت ندارم.

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

از مشارکت با مردم شریر نفرت دارم و با بدکاران رفت و آمد نمی‌کنم.

I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

خداوندا، به نشانهٔ بی‌گناهی دست خود را می‌شویم و قربانگاه تو را طواف می‌کنم.

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

با صدای بلند، در ستایش تو سرود خواهم خواند و تمام کارهای عجیب تو را بیان خواهم کرد.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

خداوندا، خانهٔ تو را دوست می‌دارم، آن جایی که جلال تو در آنجاست.

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

مرا با گناهکاران نابود منما، و در سرنوشت مردمان قاتل و خونریز شریک مگردان.

In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

مردمانی که پیوسته شرارت می‌کنند و رشوه می‌گیرند.

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

امّا من آنچه را که درست است انجام می‌دهم، پس بر من رحمت فرموده مرا نجات بده.

My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

خداوند مرا از خطر می‌رهاند، او را در مقابل همهٔ مردم پرستش خواهم نمود.
