How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

Přednímu z kantorů na gittit, synů Chóre, žalm.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Jak jsou milí příbytkové tvoji, Hospodine zástupů!

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Žádostiva jest a velice touží duše má po síňcích Hospodinových; srdce mé, i tělo mé pléše k Bohu živému.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Ano i ten vrabec nalezl sobě místo a vlaštovice hnízdo, v němž by schránila mladé své, při oltářích tvých, Hospodine zástupů, králi můj a Bože můj.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Blahoslavení, kteříž přebývají v domě tvém, tiť tebe na věky chváliti budou. Sélah.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Blahoslavený člověk, jehož síla jest Hospodin, a v jejichž srdci jsou stezky kroků jejich,

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Ti, kteříž jdouce přes údolí moruší, za studnici jej sobě pokládají, na něž i déšť požehnání přichází.

O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Berou se houf za houfem, a ukazují se před Bohem na Sionu.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Hospodine Bože zástupů, vyslyš modlitbu mou, pozoruj, ó Bože Jákobův. Sélah.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Pavézo naše, popatř, ó Bože, a viz tvář pomazaného svého.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Nebo lepší jest den v síňcích tvých, než jinde tisíc; zvolil jsem sobě raději u prahu seděti v domě Boha svého, nežli přebývati v stáncích bezbožníků.

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Nebo Hospodin Bůh jest slunce a pavéza; tuť milosti i slávy udílí Hospodin, aniž odepře čeho dobrého chodícím v upřímnosti. [ (Psalms 84:13) Hospodine zástupů, blahoslavený člověk, kterýž naději skládá v tobě. ]
