Matthew 8

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

А когато слезе от хълма, Го последваха големи множества.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

И ето, един прокажен дойде при Него и като Му се кланяше, каза: Господи, ако искаш, можеш да ме очистиш.

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Тогава Иисус простря ръка и се допря до него, и каза: Искам, бъди очистен. И начаса проказата се очисти от него.

And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

И Иисус му каза: Гледай да не кажеш това на никого; но за свидетелство на тях иди да се покажеш на свещеника и принеси дара, който Мойсей е заповядал.

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

А когато влезе в Капернаум, един стотник дойде при Него и Му се молеше, като казваше:

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

Господи, слугата ми лежи у дома парализиран и много се мъчи.

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Той му каза: Ще дойда и ще го изцеля.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Стотникът в отговор Му каза: Господи, не съм достоен да влезеш под стряхата ми; но кажи само една дума и слугата ми ще оздравее.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

Защото и аз съм подвластен човек и имам подчинени на мен войници; и казвам на този: Иди! — и той отива; и на друг: Ела! — и той идва; а на слугата си: Направи това! — и той го прави.

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Иисус, като чу това, се почуди и каза на онези, които Го следваха: Истина ви казвам: дори в Израил не съм намерил толкова голяма вяра.

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

Но ви казвам, че мнозина ще дойдат от изток и от запад и ще насядат с Авраам, Исаак и Яков в небесното царство,

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

а синовете на царството ще бъдат изхвърлени във външната тъмнина; там ще бъде плач и скърцане със зъби.

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Тогава Иисус каза на стотника: Иди си. Както си повярвал, така нека ти бъде. И слугата оздравя в същия час.

And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

И когато Иисус дойде в къщата на Петър, видя, че тъща му лежеше болна от треска.

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

И се допря до ръката й, и треската я остави; и тя стана и Му прислужваше.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

А когато се свечери, доведоха при Него мнозина обладани от демони; и Той изгони духовете с една дума и изцели всичките болни,

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

за да се сбъдне реченото чрез пророк Исая, който казва: ?Той взе на Себе Си нашите немощи и болестите ни понесе.“

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

И като видя Иисус около Себе Си голямо множество, заповяда да минат отвъд.

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

И дойде един книжник и Му каза: Учителю, ще Те следвам, където и да отидеш!

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Иисус му каза: Лисиците си имат леговища и небесните птици – гнезда, а Човешкият Син няма къде глава да подслони.

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

А друг от учениците Му каза: Господи, позволи ми първо да отида и да погреба баща си.

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Но Иисус му каза: Следвай Ме и остави мъртвите да погребат своите мъртъвци.

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

И когато се качи на един кораб, учениците Му се качиха след Него.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

И ето, в езерото се надигна голяма буря, дотолкова, че вълните покриваха кораба; а Той спеше.

And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

Тогава се приближиха, събудиха Го и казаха: Господи, спаси! Загиваме!

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

А Той им каза: Защо сте страхливи, маловерци? Тогава стана, смъмри ветровете и вълните и настана голяма тишина.

But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

А хората се чудеха и казваха: Какъв е Този, че и ветровете и вълните Му се покоряват?

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

И когато дойде на отвъдната страна, в гадаринската страна, Го срещнаха двама обладани от демони, които излизаха от гробищата – твърде свирепи, така че никой не можеше да мине през онзи път.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

И ето, те изкрещяха, като казваха: Какво имаме ние с Теб, Божи Сине? Нима си дошъл тук преди време да ни мъчиш?

And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

А надалеч от тях имаше голямо стадо свине, което пасеше.

So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

И демоните Му се молеха, като казваха: Ако ни изпъдиш, изпрати ни в стадото свине!

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

И им каза: Идете. И те, като излязоха, отидоха в свинете; и ето, цялото стадо се спусна надолу по стръмнината в езерото и загина във водата.

And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

А свинарите побягнаха и като отидоха в града, разказаха всичко – и това, което беше станало с обладаните от демони.

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

И ето, целият град излезе да посрещне Иисус; и като Го видяха, Му се примолиха да си отиде от техните области.
