Isaiah 2

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

В последните дни хълмът на дома ГОСПОДЕН ще се утвърди на върха на планините и ще се възвиси над хълмовете, и всичките народи ще се стичат на него.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

И много народи ще отидат и ще кажат: Елате, да се изкачим на хълма ГОСПОДЕН, в дома на Якововия Бог! Той ще ни научи на пътищата Си, и ще ходим в пътеките Му. Защото от Сион ще излезе поучението и словото ГОСПОДНО — от Ерусалим.

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Бог ще съди между народите и ще отсъжда между много племена. И те ще изковат мечовете си на плугове и копията си — на сърпове. Народ против народ няма да вдигне меч и няма вече да се учат на война.

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Елате, доме яковов, и нека ходим в светлината на ГОСПОДА!

Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

Да, Ти си оставил народа Си, дома на Яков, защото те се напълниха с учения от изток и станаха гадатели като филистимците, и направиха завет с децата на чужденците.

Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

И земята им се напълни със сребро и злато и няма край на съкровищата им. Земята им се напълни с коне и няма край на колесниците им.

Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

И земята им се напълни с идоли, поклониха се на делата на ръцете си, на онова, което самите им пръсти направиха.

And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.

И приведе се обикновеният човек и сниши се издигнатият мъж; затова ти няма да им простиш.

Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.

Влез в скалата и се скрий в пръстта поради страха от ГОСПОДА и пред славата на Неговото величие!

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Гордите очи човешки ще се унижат и човешкото високоумие ще се сниши, а само ГОСПОД ще се възвиси във онзи ден.

For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Защото Денят на ГОСПОДА на Войнствата ще бъде против всеки горделив и надменен човек и против всичко, което се надига — за да се сниши —

And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

против всичките ливански кедри, високи и издигнати, и против всичките васански дъбове,

And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

против всичките високи планини, и против всички извисени хълмове,

And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

и против всяка издигната кула, и против всяка укрепена стена,

And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

и против всичките тарсийски кораби, и против всички приятни на глед произведения.

And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Гордостта човешка ще се приведе и човешката надменност ще се унижи, а само ГОСПОД ще се възвиси във онзи ден.

And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

И идолите съвсем ще изчезнат.

And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

И хората ще влязат в пещерите на скалите и в дупките в пръстта поради страха от ГОСПОДА и пред славата на Неговото величие, когато стане, за да разтресе земята.

In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

В онзи ден човек ще хвърли на къртиците и прилепите сребърните си идоли и златните си идоли, които му бяха направени, за да се кланя,

To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

за да влезе в проломите на канарите и в пукнатините на скалите поради страха от ГОСПОДА и пред славата на Неговото величие, когато стане, за да разтресе земята.

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Оставете се от човека, в чиито ноздри е диханието му, защото за какво се счита той?
