Psalms 9

मैं अपने सम्पूर्ण मन से यहोवा की स्तुति करता हूँ। हे यहोवा, तूने जो अद्भुत कर्म किये हैं, मैं उन सब का वर्णन करुँगा।

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

तूने ही मुझे इतना आनन्दित बनाया है। हे परम परमेश्वर, मैं तेरे नाम के प्रशंसा गीत गाता हूँ।

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

जब मेरे शत्रु मुझसे पलट कर मेरे विमुख होते हैं, तब परमेश्वर उनका पतन करता और वे नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

तू सच्चा न्यायकर्ता है। तू अपने सिंहासन पर न्यायकर्ता के रुप में विराजा। तूने मेरे अभियोग की सुनवाई की और मेरा न्याय किया।

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

हे यहोवा, तूने उन शत्रुओं को कठोर झिड़की दी और हे यहोवा, तूने उन दुष्टों को नष्ट किया। उनके नाम तूने जीवितों की सूची से सदा सर्वदा के लिये मिटा दिये।

Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

शत्रु नष्ट हो गया है! हे यहोवा, तूने उनके नगर मिटा दिये हैं! उनके भवन अब खण्डहर मात्र रह गये हैं। उन बुरे व्यक्तियों की हमें याद तक दिलाने को कुछ भी नहीं बचा है।

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

किन्तु यहोवा, तेरा शासन अविनाशी है। यहोवा ने अपने राज्य को शक्तिशाली बनाया। उसने जग में न्याय लाने के लिये यह किया।

But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

यहोवा धरती के सब मनुष्यों का निष्पक्ष होकर न्याय करता है। यहोवा सभी जातियों का पक्षपात रहित न्याय करता है।

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

यहोवा दलितों और शोषितों का शरणस्थल है। विपदा के समय वह एक सुदृढ़ गढ़ है।

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

जो तुझ पर भरोसा रखते, तेरा नाम जानते हैं। हे यहोवा, यदि कोई जन तेरे द्वार पर आ जाये तो बिना सहायता पाये कोई नहीं लौटता।

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

अरे ओ सिय्योन के निवासियों, यहोवा के गीत गाओ जो सिय्योन में विराजता है। सभी जातियों को उन बातों के विषय में बताओ जो बड़ी बातें यहोवा ने की हैं।

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

जो लोग यहोवा से न्याय माँगने गये, उसने उनकी सुधि ली। जिन दीनों ने उसे सहायता के लिये पुकारा, उनको यहोवा ने कभी भी नहीं बिसारा।

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

यहोवा की स्तुति मैंने गायी है: “हे यहोवा, मुझ पर दया कर। देख, किस प्रकार मेरे शत्रु मुझे दु:ख देते हैं। ‘मृत्यु के द्वार’ से तू मुझको बचा ले।

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

जिससे यहोवा यरूशलेम के फाटक पर मैं तेरी स्तुति गीत गा सकूँ। मैं अति प्रसन्न होऊँगा क्योंकि तूने मुझको बचा लिया।”

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

अन्य जातियों ने गड्ढे खोदे ताकि लोग उनमें गिर जायें, किन्तु वे अपने ही खोदे गड्ढे में स्वयं समा जायेंगे। दुष्ट जन ने जाल छिपा छिपा कर बिछाया, ताकि वे उसमें दूसरे लोगों को फँसा ले। किन्तु उनमें उनके ही पाँव फँस गये।

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

यहोवा ने जो न्याय किया वह उससे जाना गया कि जो बुरे कर्म करते हैं, वे अपने ही हाथों के किये हुए कामों से जाल में फँस गये।

The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

वे दुर्जन होते हैं, जो परमेश्वर को भूलते हैं। ऐसे मनुष्य मृत्यु के देश को जायेंगे।

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

कभी—कभी लगता है जैसे परमेश्वर दुखियों को पीड़ा में भूल जाता है। यह ऐसा लगता जैसे दीन जन आशाहीन हैं। किन्तु परमेश्वर दीनों को सदा—सर्वदा के लिये कभी नहीं भूलता।

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

हे यहोवा, उठ और राष्ट्रों का न्याय कर। कहीं वे न सोच बैठें वे प्रबल शक्तिशाली हैं।

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

लोगों को पाठ सिखा दे, ताकि वे जान जायें कि वे बस मानव मात्र है।

Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
