Psalms 71

اے رب، مَیں نے تجھ میں پناہ لی ہے۔ مجھے کبھی شرمندہ نہ ہونے دے۔

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

اپنی راستی سے مجھے بچا کر چھٹکارا دے۔ اپنا کان میری طرف جھکا کر مجھے نجات دے۔

Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

میرے لئے چٹان پر محفوظ گھر ہو جس میں مَیں ہر وقت پناہ لے سکوں۔ تُو نے فرمایا ہے کہ مجھے نجات دے گا، کیونکہ تُو ہی میری چٹان اور میرا قلعہ ہے۔

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

اے میرے خدا، مجھے بےدین کے ہاتھ سے بچا، اُس کے قبضے سے جو بےانصاف اور ظالم ہے۔

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

کیونکہ تُو ہی میری اُمید ہے۔ اے رب قادرِ مطلق، تُو میری جوانی ہی سے میرا بھروسا رہا ہے۔

For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

پیدائش سے ہی مَیں نے تجھ پر تکیہ کیا ہے، ماں کے پیٹ سے تُو نے مجھے سنبھالا ہے۔ مَیں ہمیشہ تیری حمد و ثنا کروں گا۔

By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

بہتوں کے نزدیک مَیں بدشگونی ہوں، لیکن تُو میری مضبوط پناہ گاہ ہے۔

I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

دن بھر میرا منہ تیری تمجید اور تعظیم سے لبریز رہتا ہے۔

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

بُڑھاپے میں مجھے رد نہ کر، طاقت کے ختم ہونے پر مجھے ترک نہ کر۔

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

کیونکہ میرے دشمن میرے بارے میں باتیں کر رہے ہیں، جو میری جان کی تاک لگائے بیٹھے ہیں وہ ایک دوسرے سے صلاح مشورہ کر رہے ہیں۔

For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

وہ کہتے ہیں، ”اللہ نے اُسے ترک کر دیا ہے۔ اُس کے پیچھے پڑ کر اُسے پکڑو، کیونکہ کوئی نہیں جو اُسے بچائے۔“

Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

اے اللہ، مجھ سے دُور نہ ہو۔ اے میرے خدا، میری مدد کرنے میں جلدی کر۔

O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

میرے حریف شرمندہ ہو کر فنا ہو جائیں، جو مجھے نقصان پہنچانے کے درپَے ہیں وہ لعن طعن اور رُسوائی تلے دب جائیں۔

Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

لیکن مَیں ہمیشہ تیرے انتظار میں رہوں گا، ہمیشہ تیری ستائش کرتا رہوں گا۔

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

میرا منہ تیری راستی سناتا رہے گا، سارا دن تیرے نجات بخش کاموں کا ذکر کرتا رہے گا، گو مَیں اُن کی پوری تعداد گن بھی نہیں سکتا۔

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

مَیں رب قادرِ مطلق کے عظیم کام سناتے ہوئے آؤں گا، مَیں تیری، صرف تیری ہی راستی یاد کروں گا۔

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

اے اللہ، تُو میری جوانی سے مجھے تعلیم دیتا رہا ہے، اور آج تک مَیں تیرے معجزات کا اعلان کرتا آیا ہوں۔

O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

اے اللہ، خواہ مَیں بوڑھا ہو جاؤں اور میرے بال سفید ہو جائیں مجھے ترک نہ کر جب تک مَیں آنے والی پشت کے تمام لوگوں کو تیری قوت اور قدرت کے بارے میں بتا نہ لوں۔

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

اے اللہ، تیری راستی آسمان سے باتیں کرتی ہے۔ اے اللہ، تجھ جیسا کون ہے جس نے اِتنے عظیم کام کئے ہیں؟

Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

تُو نے مجھے متعدد تلخ تجربوں میں سے گزرنے دیا ہے، لیکن تُو مجھے دوبارہ زندہ بھی کرے گا، تُو مجھے زمین کی گہرائیوں میں سے واپس لائے گا۔

Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

میرا رُتبہ بڑھا دے، مجھے دوبارہ تسلی دے۔

Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

اے میرے خدا، مَیں ستار بجا کر تیری ستائش اور تیری وفاداری کی تمجید کروں گا۔ اے اسرائیل کے قدوس، مَیں سرود بجا کر تیری تعریف میں گیت گاؤں گا۔

I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

جب مَیں تیری مدح سرائی کروں گا تو میرے ہونٹ خوشی کے نعرے لگائیں گے، اور میری جان جسے تُو نے فدیہ دے کر چھڑایا ہے شادیانہ بجائے گی۔

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

میری زبان بھی دن بھر تیری راستی بیان کرے گی، کیونکہ جو مجھے نقصان پہنچانا چاہتے تھے وہ شرم سار اور رُسوا ہو گئے ہیں۔

My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
