Psalms 2

[] Nedir uluslar arasındaki bu kargaşa, Neden boş düzenler kurar bu halklar?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Dünyanın kralları saf bağlıyor, Hükümdarlar birleşiyor RAB’be ve meshettiği krala karşı.
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
“Koparalım onların kayışlarını” diyorlar, “Atalım üzerimizden bağlarını.”
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Göklerde oturan Rab gülüyor, Onlarla eğleniyor.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Sonra öfkeyle uyarıyor onları, Gazabıyla dehşete düşürüyor
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Ve, “Ben kralımı Kutsal dağım Siyon’a oturttum” diyor.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
[] RAB’bin bildirisini ilan edeceğim: Bana, “Sen benim oğlumsun” dedi, “Bugün ben sana baba oldum.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Dile benden, miras olarak sana ulusları, Mülk olarak yeryüzünün dört bucağını vereyim.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
[] Demir çomakla kıracaksın onları, Çömlek gibi parçalayacaksın.”
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Ey krallar, akıllı olun! Ey dünya önderleri, ders alın!
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
RAB’be korkuyla hizmet edin, Titreyerek sevinin.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Oğulu öpün ki öfkelenmesin, Yoksa izlediğiniz yolda mahvolursunuz. Çünkü öfkesi bir anda alevleniverir. Ne mutlu O’na sığınanlara!
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
