Psalms 97

JEHOVÁ reinó: regocíjese la tierra: Alégrense las muchas islas.

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Nube y oscuridad alrededor de él: Justicia y juicio son el asiento de su trono.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

Fuego irá delante de él, Y abrasará en derredor sus enemigos.

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

Sus relámpagos alumbraron el mundo: La tierra vió, y estremecióse.

His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

Los montes se derritieron como cera delante de JEHOVÁ, Delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Los cielos denunciaron su justicia, Y todos los pueblos vieron su gloria.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Avergüéncense todos los que sirven á las imágenes de talla, Los que se alaban de los ídolos: Los dioses todos á él se encorven.

Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

Oyó Sión, y alegróse; Y las hijas de Judá, Oh JEHOVÁ, se gozaron por tus juicios.

Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

Porque tú, JEHOVÁ, eres alto sobre toda la tierra: Eres muy ensalzado sobre todos los dioses.

For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Los que á JEHOVÁ amáis, aborreced el mal: Guarda él las almas de sus santos; De mano de los impíos los libra.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Luz está sembrada para el justo, Y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Alegraos, justos, en JEHOVÁ: Y alabad la memoria de su santidad.

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
