Psalms 31

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, tôi nương náu mình nơi Ngài; Chớ hề để tôi bị hổ thẹn; Xin hay lấy công bình Ngài mà giải cứu tôi.

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

Khá nghiêng tai qua tôi, mau mau giải cứu tôi. Hãy làm hòn đá vững chắc cho tôi, Một đồn lũy để cứu tôi.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

Vì Chúa là hòn đá và đồn lũy tôi; Xin dẫn dắt tôi nhơn danh Chúa.

Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

Xin Chúa gỡ tôi khỏi lưới mà chúng nó gài kín tôi; Vì Chúa là nơi bảo hộ tôi.

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

Tôi phó thác thần linh tôi vào tay Chúa: Hỡi Giê-hô-va, là Ðức Chúa Trời chơn thật, Ngài đã chuộc tôi.

I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

Tôi ghét những kẻ thờ hình tượng hư không; Nhưng tôi tin cậy nơi Ðức Giê-hô-va.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

Tôi sẽ vui mừng và khoái lạc bởi sự nhơn từ của Chúa; Vì Chúa đã đoái đến sự hoạn nạn tôi, biết nỗi sầu khổ linh hồn tôi.

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

Chúa không nộp tôi vào tay kẻ thù nghịch, Song đặt chơn tôi nơi rộng rãi.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! xin hãy thương xót tôi, vì tôi bị gian truân. Con mắt tôi hao mòn vì cớ buồn rầu, Linh hồn và thân thể tôi cũng vậy.

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

Mạng sống tôi tiêu hao vì cớ buồn bực, Các năm tôi sút kém tại than thở; Vì cớ tội ác tôi, Sức mạnh tôi mỏn yếu, và xương cốt tôi tiêu tàn.

I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

Bởi cớ các cừu địch tôi, tôi trở nên sự ô nhục, Thật một sự ô nhục lớn cho kẻ lân cận tôi, và một vật sợ hãi cho những kẻ quen biết tôi; Kẻ nào thấy tôi ở ngoài đều trốn khỏi tôi.

I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

Tôi bị chúng quên đi như kẻ chết mà lòng không còn nhớ đến; Tôi giống như một cái bình bể nát.

For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

Tôi đã nghe lời phao vu của nhiều kẻ, Tứ phía có sự kinh khủng: Ðương khi chúng nó bàn nhau nghịch tôi, Bèn toan cất mạng sống tôi.

But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.

Nhưng Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! tôi tin cậy nơi Ngài; Tôi nói: Ngài là Ðức Chúa Trời tôi.

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Kỳ mạng tôi ở nơi tay Chúa; Xin giải cứu tôi khỏi tay kẻ thù nghịch, và khỏi tay kẻ bắt bớ tôi.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.

Cầu xin soi sáng mặt Chúa trên kẻ tôi tớ Chúa, Lấy sự nhơn từ Chúa mà cứu vớt tôi.

Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! nguyện tôi không bị hổ thẹn, vì tôi cầu khẩn Ngài. Nguyện kẻ ác phải xấu hổ và nín lặng nơi âm phủ!

Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Nguyện các môi dối trá hay lấy lời xấc xược, Kiêu ngạo và khinh bỉ mà nói nghịch người công bình, Bị câm đi!

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Sự nhơn từ Chúa, Mà Chúa đã dành cho người kính sợ Chúa, Và thi hành trước mặt con cái loài người Cho những kẻ nương náu mình nơi Chúa, thật lớn lao thay!

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Chúa giấu họ tại nơi ẩn bí ở trước mặt Chúa, cách xa mưu kế của loài người; Chúa che khuất họ trong một cái lều cách xa sự trành giành của lưỡi.

Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Ðáng ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va thay, Vì tại trong thành vững bền Ngài đã tỏ cho tôi sự nhơn từ lạ lùng của Ngài!

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

Trong cơn bối rối tôi nói rằng: Tôi bị truất khỏi trước mặt Chúa. Nhưng khi tôi kêu cầu cùng Chúa, Chúa bèn nghe tiếng nài xin của tôi.

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Hỡi các thánh của Ðức Giê-hô-va, hãy yêu mến Ngài. Ðức Giê-hô-va gìn giữ những người thành tín, Nhưng báo cách nặng nề kẻ ăn ở kiêu ngạo.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Hỡi các người trông cậy nơi Ðức Giê-hô-va, Hãy vững lòng bền chí.
