Ezekiel 30

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

”اے آدم زاد، نبوّت کر کے یہ پیغام سنا دے، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ آہ و زاری کرو! اُس دن پر افسوس

For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

جو آنے والا ہے۔ کیونکہ رب کا دن قریب ہی ہے۔ اُس دن گھنے بادل چھا جائیں گے، اور مَیں اقوام کی عدالت کروں گا۔

And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

مصر پر تلوار نازل ہو کر وہاں کے باشندوں کو مار ڈالے گی۔ ملک کی دولت چھین لی جائے گی، اور اُس کی بنیادوں کو ڈھا دیا جائے گا۔ یہ دیکھ کر ایتھوپیا لرز اُٹھے گا،

Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.

کیونکہ اُس کے لوگ بھی تلوار کی زد میں آ جائیں گے۔ کئی قوموں کے افراد مصریوں کے ساتھ ہلاک ہو جائیں گے۔ ایتھوپیا کے، لبیا کے، لُدیہ کے، مصر میں بسنے والے تمام اجنبی قوموں کے، کوب کے اور میرے عہد کی قوم اسرائیل کے لوگ ہلاک ہو جائیں گے۔

Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مصر کو سہارا دینے والے سب گر جائیں گے، اور جس طاقت پر وہ فخر کرتا ہے وہ جاتی رہے گی۔ شمال میں مجدال سے لے کر جنوبی شہر اسوان تک اُنہیں تلوار مار ڈالے گی۔ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔

And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.

ارد گرد کے دیگر ممالک کی طرح مصر بھی ویران و سنسان ہو گا، ارد گرد کے دیگر شہروں کی طرح اُس کے شہر بھی ملبے کے ڈھیر ہوں گے۔

And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

جب مَیں مصر میں یوں آگ لگا کر اُس کے مددگاروں کو کچل ڈالوں گا تو لوگ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

اب تک ایتھوپیا اپنے آپ کو محفوظ سمجھتا ہے، لیکن اُس دن میری طرف سے قاصد نکل کر اُس ملک کے باشندوں کو ایسی خبر پہنچائیں گے جس سے وہ تھرتھرا اُٹھیں گے۔ کیونکہ قاصد کشتیوں میں بیٹھ کر دریائے نیل کے ذریعے اُن تک پہنچیں گے اور اُنہیں اطلاع دیں گے کہ مصر تباہ ہو گیا ہے۔ یہ سن کر وہاں کے لوگ کانپ اُٹھیں گے۔ یقین کرو، یہ دن جلد ہی آنے والا ہے۔

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ شاہِ بابل نبوکدنضر کے ذریعے مَیں مصر کی شان و شوکت چھین لوں گا۔

He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.

اُسے فوج سمیت مصر میں لایا جائے گا تاکہ اُسے تباہ کرے۔ تب اقوام میں سے سب سے ظالم یہ لوگ اپنی تلواروں کو چلا کر ملک کو مقتولوں سے بھر دیں گے۔

And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.

مَیں دریائے نیل کی شاخوں کو خشک کروں گا اور مصر کو فروخت کر کے شریر آدمیوں کے حوالے کر دوں گا۔ پردیسیوں کے ذریعے مَیں ملک اور جو کچھ بھی اُس میں ہے تباہ کر دوں گا۔ یہ میرا، رب کا فرمان ہے۔

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں مصری بُتوں کو برباد کروں گا اور میمفِس کے مجسمے ہٹا دوں گا۔ مصر میں حکمران نہیں رہے گا، اور مَیں ملک پر خوف طاری کروں گا۔

And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.

میرے حکم پر جنوبی مصر برباد اور ضُعن نذرِ آتش ہو گا۔ مَیں تھیبس کی عدالت

And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.

اور مصری قلعے پلوسیئم پر اپنا غضب نازل کروں گا۔ ہاں، تھیبس کی شان و شوکت نیست و نابود ہو جائے گی۔

And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.

مَیں مصر کو نذرِ آتش کروں گا۔ تب پلوسیئم دردِ زہ میں مبتلا عورت کی طرح پیچ و تاب کھائے گا، تھیبس دشمن کے قبضے میں آئے گا اور میمفِس مسلسل مصیبت میں پھنسا رہے گا۔

The young men of Aven and of Pi–beseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.

دشمن کی تلوار ہیلیوپلس اور بوبستس کے جوانوں کو مار ڈالے گی جبکہ بچی ہوئی عورتیں غلام بن کر جلاوطن ہو جائیں گی۔

At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.

تحفن حیس میں دن تاریک ہو جائے گا جب مَیں وہاں مصر کے جوئے کو توڑ دوں گا۔ وہیں اُس کی زبردست طاقت جاتی رہے گی۔ گھنا بادل شہر پر چھا جائے گا، اور گرد و نواح کی آبادیاں قیدی بن کر جلاوطن ہو جائیں گی۔

Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

یوں مَیں مصر کی عدالت کروں گا اور وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں‘۔“

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

یہویاکین بادشاہ کی جلاوطنی کے گیارھویں سال میں رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا۔ پہلے مہینے کا ساتواں دن تھا۔ اُس نے فرمایا تھا،

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

”اے آدم زاد، مَیں نے مصری بادشاہ فرعون کا بازو توڑ ڈالا ہے۔ شفا پانے کے لئے لازم تھا کہ بازو پر پٹی باندھی جائے، کہ ٹوٹی ہوئی ہڈی کے ساتھ کھپچّی باندھی جائے تاکہ بازو مضبوط ہو کر تلوار چلانے کے قابل ہو جائے۔ لیکن اِس قسم کا علاج ہوا نہیں۔

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

چنانچہ رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں مصری بادشاہ فرعون سے نپٹ کر اُس کے دونوں بازوؤں کو توڑ ڈالوں گا، صحت مند بازو کو بھی اور ٹوٹے ہوئے کو بھی۔ تب تلوار اُس کے ہاتھ سے گر جائے گی

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

اور مَیں مصریوں کو مختلف اقوام و ممالک میں منتشر کر دوں گا۔

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.

مَیں شاہِ بابل کے بازوؤں کو تقویت دے کر اُسے اپنی ہی تلوار پکڑا دوں گا۔ لیکن فرعون کے بازوؤں کو مَیں توڑ ڈالوں گا، اور وہ شاہِ بابل کے سامنے مرنے والے زخمی آدمی کی طرح کراہ اُٹھے گا۔

But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

شاہِ بابل کے بازوؤں کو مَیں تقویت دوں گا جبکہ فرعون کے بازو بےحس و حرکت ہو جائیں گے۔ جس وقت مَیں اپنی تلوار کو شاہِ بابل کو پکڑا دوں گا اور وہ اُسے مصر کے خلاف چلائے گا اُس وقت لوگ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

ہاں، جس وقت مَیں مصریوں کو دیگر اقوام و ممالک میں منتشر کر دوں گا اُس وقت وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔“
