Ezekiel 27

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

”اے آدم زاد، صور بیٹی پر ماتمی گیت گا،

And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

اُس شہر پر جو سمندر کی گزرگاہ پر واقع ہے اور متعدد ساحلی قوموں سے تجارت کرتا ہے۔ اُس سے کہہ، ’رب فرماتا ہے کہ اے صور بیٹی، تُو اپنے آپ پر بہت فخر کر کے کہتی ہے کہ واہ، میرا حُسن کمال کا ہے۔

Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

اور واقعی، تیرا علاقہ سمندر کے بیچ میں ہی ہے، اور جنہوں نے تجھے تعمیر کیا اُنہوں نے تیرے حُسن کو تکمیل تک پہنچایا،

They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

تجھے شاندار بحری جہاز کی مانند بنایا۔ تیرے تختے سنیر میں اُگنے والے جونیپرکے درختوں سے بنائے گئے، تیرا مستول لبنان کا دیودار کا درخت تھا۔

Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

تیرے چپو بسن کے بلوط کے درختوں سے بنائے گئے، جبکہ تیرے فرش کے لئے قبرص سے سرو کی لکڑی لائی گئی، پھر اُسے ہاتھی دانت سے آراستہ کیا گیا۔

Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

نفیس کتان کا تیرا رنگ دار بادبان مصر کا تھا۔ وہ تیرا امتیازی نشان بن گیا۔ تیرے ترپالوں کا قرمزی اور ارغوانی رنگ اِلیسہ کے ساحلی علاقے سے لایا گیا۔

The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.

صیدا اور اروَد کے مرد تیرے چپو مارتے تھے، صور کے اپنے ہی دانا تیرے ملاح تھے۔

The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

جبل کے بزرگ اور دانش مند آدمی دھیان دیتے تھے کہ تیری درزیں بند رہیں۔ تمام بحری جہاز اپنے ملاحوں سمیت تیرے پاس آیا کرتے تھے تاکہ تیرے ساتھ تجارت کریں۔

They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

فارس، لُدیہ اور لبیا کے افراد تیری فوج میں خدمت کرتے تھے۔ تیری دیواروں سے لٹکی اُن کی ڈھالوں اور خودوں نے تیری شان مزید بڑھا دی۔

The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

اروَد اور خلک کے آدمی تیری فصیل کا دفاع کرتے تھے، جماد کے فوجی تیرے بُرجوں میں پہرہ داری کرتے تھے۔ تیری دیواروں سے لٹکی ہوئی اُن کی ڈھالوں نے تیرے حُسن کو کمال تک پہنچا دیا۔

Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

تُو امیر تھی، تجھ میں مال و اسباب کی کثرت کی تجارت کی جاتی تھی۔ اِس لئے ترسیس تجھے چاندی، لوہا، ٹین اور سیسا دے کر تجھ سے سودا کرتا تھا۔

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

یونان، تُوبل اور مسک تجھ سے تجارت کرتے، تیرا مال خرید کر معاوضے میں غلام اور پیتل کا سامان دیتے تھے۔

They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

بیت تُجرمہ کے تاجر تیرے مال کے لئے تجھے عام گھوڑے، فوجی گھوڑے اور خچر پہنچاتے تھے۔

The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

ددان کے آدمی تیرے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے، ہاں متعدد ساحلی علاقے تیرے گاہک تھے۔ اُن کے ساتھ سودابازی کر کے تجھے ہاتھی دانت اور آبنوس کی لکڑی ملتی تھی۔

Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

شام تیری پیداوار کی کثرت کی وجہ سے تیرے ساتھ تجارت کرتا تھا۔ معاوضے میں تجھے فیروزہ، ارغوانی رنگ، رنگ دار کپڑے، باریک کتان، مونگا اور یاقوت ملتا تھا۔

Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

یہوداہ اور اسرائیل تیرے گاہک تھے۔ تیرا مال خرید کر وہ تجھے مِنّیت کا گندم، پنّگ کی ٹکیاں، شہد، زیتون کا تیل اور بلسان دیتے تھے۔

Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

دمشق تیری وافر پیداوار اور مال کی کثرت کی وجہ سے تیرے ساتھ کاروبار کرتا تھا۔ اُس سے تجھے حلبون کی مَے اور صاحر کی اُون ملتی تھی۔

Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

ودان اور یونان تیرے گاہک تھے۔ وہ اُوزال کا ڈھالا ہوا لوہا، دارچینی اور کلمس کا مسالا پہنچاتے تھے۔

Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

ددان سے تجارت کرنے سے تجھے زِین پوش ملتی تھی۔

Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

عرب اور قیدار کے تمام حکمران تیرے گاہک تھے۔ تیرے مال کے عوض وہ بھیڑ کے بچے، مینڈھے اور بکرے دیتے تھے۔

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

سبا اور رعمہ کے تاجر تیرا مال حاصل کرنے کے لئے تجھے بہترین بلسان، ہر قسم کے جواہر اور سونا دیتے تھے۔

Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

حاران، کنّہ، عدن، سبا، اسور اور کُل مادی سب تیرے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔

These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

وہ تیرے پاس آ کر تجھے شاندار لباس، قرمزی رنگ کی چادریں، رنگ دار کپڑے اور کمبل، نیز مضبوط رسّے پیش کرتے تھے۔

The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

ترسیس کے عمدہ جہاز تیرا مال مختلف ممالک میں پہنچاتے تھے۔ یوں تُو جہاز کی مانند سمندر کے بیچ میں رہ کر دولت اور شان سے مالا مال ہو گئی۔

Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

تیرے چپو چلانے والے تجھے دُور دُور تک پہنچاتے ہیں۔ لیکن وہ وقت قریب ہے جب مشرق سے تیز آندھی آ کر تجھے سمندر کے درمیان ہی ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دے گی۔

Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

جس دن تُو گر جائے گی اُس دن تیری تمام ملکیت سمندر کے بیچ میں ہی ڈوب جائے گی۔ تیری دولت، تیرا سودا، تیرے ملاح، تیرے بحری مسافر، تیری درزیں بند رکھنے والے، تیرے تاجر، تیرے تمام فوجی اور باقی جتنے بھی تجھ پر سوار ہیں سب کے سب غرق ہو جائیں گے۔

The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

تیرے ملاحوں کی چیختی چلّاتی آوازیں سن کر ساحلی علاقے کانپ اُٹھیں گے۔

And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

تمام چپو چلانے والے، ملاح اور بحری مسافر اپنے جہازوں سے اُتر کر ساحل پر کھڑے ہو جائیں گے۔

And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

وہ زور سے رو پڑیں گے، بڑی تلخی سے گریہ و زاری کریں گے۔ اپنے سروں پر خاک ڈال کر وہ راکھ میں لوٹ پوٹ ہو جائیں گے۔

And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

تیری ہی وجہ سے وہ اپنے سروں کو منڈوا کر ٹاٹ کا لباس اوڑھ لیں گے، وہ بڑی بےچینی اور تلخی سے تجھ پر ماتم کریں گے۔

And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

تب وہ زار و قطار رو کر ماتم کا گیت گائیں گے، ”ہائے، کون سمندر سے گھرے ہوئے صور کی طرح خاموش ہو گیا ہے؟“

When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

جب تجارت کا مال سمندر کی چاروں طرف سے تجھ تک پہنچتا تھا تو تُو متعدد قوموں کو سیر کرتی تھی۔ دنیا کے بادشاہ تیری دولت اور تجارتی سامان کی کثرت سے امیر ہوئے۔

In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

افسوس! اب تُو پاش پاش ہو کر سمندر کی گہرائیوں میں غائب ہو گئی ہے۔ تیرا مال اور تیرے تمام افراد تیرے ساتھ ڈوب گئے ہیں۔

All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

ساحلی علاقوں میں بسنے والے گھبرا گئے ہیں۔ اُن کے بادشاہوں کے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو گئے، اُن کے چہرے پریشان نظر آتے ہیں۔

The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.

دیگر اقوام کے تاجر تجھے دیکھ کر ”توبہ توبہ“ کہتے ہیں۔ تیرا ہول ناک انجام اچانک ہی آ گیا ہے۔ اب سے تُو کبھی نہیں اُٹھے گی‘۔“
