I Corinthians 16

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

رہی چندے کی بات جو یروشلم کے مُقدّسین کے لئے جمع کیا جا رہا ہے تو اُسی ہدایت پر عمل کریں جو مَیں گلتیہ کی جماعتوں کو دے چکا ہوں۔

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

ہر اتوار کو آپ میں سے ہر کوئی اپنے کمائے ہوئے پیسوں میں سے کچھ اِس چندے کے لئے مخصوص کر کے اپنے پاس رکھ چھوڑے۔ پھر میرے آنے پر ہدیہ جات جمع کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں پڑے گی۔

And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

جب مَیں آؤں گا تو ایسے افراد کو جو آپ کے نزدیک قابلِ اعتماد ہیں خطوط دے کر یروشلم بھیجوں گا تاکہ وہ آپ کا ہدیہ وہاں تک پہنچا دیں۔

And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

اگر مناسب ہو کہ مَیں بھی جاؤں تو وہ میرے ساتھ جائیں گے۔

Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

مَیں مکدُنیہ سے ہو کر آپ کے پاس آؤں گا کیونکہ مکدُنیہ میں سے سفر کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں۔

And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

شاید آپ کے پاس تھوڑے عرصے کے لئے ٹھہروں، لیکن یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ سردیوں کا موسم آپ ہی کے ساتھ کاٹوں تاکہ میرے بعد کے سفر کے لئے آپ میری مدد کر سکیں۔

For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

مَیں نہیں چاہتا کہ اِس دفعہ مختصر ملاقات کے بعد چلتا بنوں، بلکہ میری خواہش ہے کہ کچھ وقت آپ کے ساتھ گزاروں۔ شرط یہ ہے کہ خداوند مجھے اجازت دے۔

But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

لیکن عیدِ پنتکُست تک مَیں اِفسس میں ہی ٹھہروں گا،

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

کیونکہ یہاں میرے سامنے موثر کام کے لئے ایک بڑا دروازہ کھل گیا ہے اور ساتھ ہی بہت سے مخالف بھی پیدا ہو گئے ہیں۔

Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

اگر تیمُتھیُس آئے تو اِس کا خیال رکھیں کہ وہ بلاخوف آپ کے پاس رہ سکے۔ میری طرح وہ بھی خداوند کے کھیت میں فصل کاٹ رہا ہے۔

Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

اِس لئے کوئی اُسے حقیر نہ جانے۔ اُسے سلامتی سے سفر پر روانہ کریں تاکہ وہ مجھ تک پہنچے، کیونکہ مَیں اور دیگر بھائی اُس کے منتظر ہیں۔

As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

بھائی اپلّوس کی مَیں نے بڑی حوصلہ افزائی کی ہے کہ وہ دیگر بھائیوں کے ساتھ آپ کے پاس آئے، لیکن اللہ کو قطعاً منظور نہ تھا۔ تاہم موقع ملنے پر وہ ضرور آئے گا۔

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

جاگتے رہیں، ایمان میں ثابت قدم رہیں، مردانگی دکھائیں، مضبوط بنے رہیں۔

Let all your things be done with charity.

سب کچھ محبت سے کریں۔

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

بھائیو، مَیں ایک بات میں آپ کو نصیحت کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ آپ جانتے ہیں کہ ستفناس کا گھرانا اخیہ کا پہلا پھل ہے اور کہ اُنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو مُقدّسین کی خدمت کے لئے وقف کر رکھا ہے۔

That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

آپ ایسے لوگوں کے تابع رہیں اور ساتھ ہی ہر اُس شخص کے جو اُن کے ساتھ خدمت کے کام میں جاں فشانی کرتا ہے۔

I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

ستفناس، فرتُوناتُس اور اخیکُس کے پہنچنے پر مَیں بہت خوش ہوا، کیونکہ اُنہوں نے وہ کمی پوری کر دی جو آپ کی غیرحاضری سے پیدا ہوئی تھی۔

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

اُنہوں نے میری روح کو اور ساتھ ہی آپ کی روح کو بھی تازہ کیا ہے۔ ایسے لوگوں کی قدر کریں۔

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

آسیہ کی جماعتیں آپ کو سلام کہتی ہیں۔ اکوِلہ اور پرسکلہ آپ کو خداوند میں پُرجوش سلام کہتے ہیں اور اُن کے ساتھ وہ جماعت بھی جو اُن کے گھر میں جمع ہوتی ہے۔

All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

تمام بھائی آپ کو سلام کہتے ہیں۔ ایک دوسرے کو مُقدّس بوسہ دیتے ہوئے سلام کہیں۔

The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

یہ سلام مَیں یعنی پولس اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھتا ہوں۔

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

لعنت اُس شخص پر جو خداوند سے محبت نہیں رکھتا۔ اے ہمارے خداوند، آ!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

خداوند عیسیٰ کا فضل آپ کے ساتھ رہے۔

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. The first epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus.

مسیح عیسیٰ میں آپ سب کو میرا پیار۔
