Psalms 92

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Ψαλμος ωδης δια την ημεραν του Σαββατου. Αγαθον το να δοξολογη τις τον Κυριον και να ψαλμωδη εις το ονομα σου, Υψιστε

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

να αναγγελλη το πρωι το ελεος σου και την αληθειαν σου πασαν νυκτα,

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

με δεκαχορδον οργανον και με ψαλτηριον με ωδην και κιθαραν.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Διοτι με ευφρανας, Κυριε, εν τοις ποιημασι σου θελω αγαλλεσθαι εν τοις εργοις των χειρων σου.

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Ποσον μεγαλα ειναι τα εργα σου, Κυριε βαθεις ειναι οι διαλογισμοι σου σφοδρα.

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

Ο ανθρωπος ο ανοητος δεν γνωριζει, και ο μωρος δεν εννοει τουτο

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

οτι οι ασεβεις βλαστανουσιν ως ο χορτος, και ανθουσι παντες οι εργαται της ανομιας, δια να αφανισθωσιν αιωνιως.

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

Αλλα συ, Κυριε, εισαι υψιστος εις τον αιωνα.

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Διοτι, ιδου, οι εχθροι σου, Κυριε, διοτι, ιδου, οι εχθροι σου θελουσιν εξολοθρευθη θελουσι διασκορπισθη παντες οι εργαται της ανομιας.

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Αλλα συ θελεις υψωσει ως του μονοκερωτος το κερας μου εγω θελω χρισθη με νεον ελαιον

Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

και ο οφθαλμος μου θελει ιδει την εκδικησιν των εχθρων μου τα ωτα μου θελουσιν ακουσει περι των κακοποιων των επανισταμενων κατ εμου.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Ο δικαιος ως φοινιξ θελει ανθει ως κεδρος του Λιβανου θελει αυξανει.

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Πεφυτευμενοι εν τω οικω του Κυριου, θελουσιν ανθει εν ταις αυλαις του Θεου ημων

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

θελουσι καρποφορει και εν αυτω τω βαθει γηρατι, θελουσιν εισθαι ακμαζοντες και ανθηροι

To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

δια να αναγγελλωσιν οτι δικαιος ειναι ο Κυριος, το φρουριον μου και δεν υπαρχει αδικια εν αυτω.
