Psalms 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Bog nam je zaklon i utvrda, pomoćnik spreman u nevolji.

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Stoga, ne bojmo se kad se ljulja zemlja, kad se bregovi ruše u more.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

Nek' buče i bjesne valovi morski, nek' bregovi dršću od žestine njihove: s nama je Jahve nad Vojskama, naša je utvrda Bog Jakovljev!

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Rijeka i rukavci njezini vesele Grad Božji, presveti šator Višnjega.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Bog je sred njega, poljuljat se neće, od rane zore Bog mu pomaže.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Ma bješnjeli puci, rušila se carstva, kad glas njegov zagrmi, zemlja se rastopi:

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

s nama je Jahve nad Vojskama, naša je utvrda Bog Jakovljev!

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Dođite, gledajte djela Jahvina, strahote koje on na zemlji učini.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Do nakraj zemlje on ratove prekida, lukove krši i lomi koplja, štitove ognjem sažiže.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Prestanite i znajte da sam ja Bog, uzvišen nad pucima, nad svom zemljom uzvišen! [ (Psalms 46:12) S nama je Jahve nad Vojskama, naša je utvrda Bog Jakovljev! ]
