Psalms 81

Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

(По слав. 80) За първия певец. По Гитит. Псалм на Асаф. Пейте радостно на Бога, нашата сила, извикайте радостно към Бога на Яков!

Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

Запейте песен и ударете тъпанчето, благозвучната арфа заедно с лирата!

Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Затръбете с тръбата при новолуние, при пълнолуние, в деня на нашия празник.

For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

Защото това е наредба за Израил, закон на Бога на Яков.

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

Той го постанови като свидетелство в Йосиф, когато излезе против египетската земя, където чух език, който не познавах.

I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

Облекчих рамото му от товара, ръцете му се освободиха от коша.

Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Ти извика в скръбта си, и Аз те избавих, отговорих ти с тайнствения глас на гърма, изпитах те при водите на Мерива. (Села.)

Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

Слушайте, народе Мой, и ще засвидетелствам против вас! Израилю, ако Ме послушаш,

There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

да няма сред теб чужд бог, да не се покланяш на някой чужд бог —

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Аз съм ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, който те изведе от египетската земя — отвори широко устата си, и ще я напълня.

But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

Но народът Ми не послуша гласа Ми, Израил не Ме искаше.

So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Затова ги предадох на упорството на сърцето им, ходиха по своите си намерения.

Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

О, да беше Ме послушал народът Ми, да беше ходил Израил в пътищата Ми!

I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

Скоро бих покорил враговете им и бих обърнал ръката Си срещу противниците им.

The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

Онези, които мразят ГОСПОДА, биха се престрували на покорни пред Него, а тяхното време би траело до века.

He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

С най-тлъстата пшеница би ги хранил и с мед от скалата бих те наситил.
