Psalms 82

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

(По слав. 81) Псалм на Асаф. Бог стои в Божието събрание, съди сред владетелите.

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

Докога ще съдите несправедливо и ще показвате пристрастие към безбожните? (Села.)

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Съдете право сиромаха и сирачето, отдайте справедливост на наскърбения и бедния.

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Избавяйте сиромаха и нуждаещия се, освобождавайте ги от ръката на безбожните!

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Те не знаят и не разбират, лутат се в тъмнина. Всичките основи на земята се клатят.

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Аз казах: Богове сте вие, синове на Всевишния сте всички!

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Но като човек ще умрете и ще паднете като един от князете.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Стани, Боже, съди земята, защото Ти ще наследиш всички народи!
