Psalms 30

I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

(По слав. 29) Псалм. Песен при освещението на дома. Псалм на Давид. Ще те превъзнасям, ГОСПОДИ, защото Ти си ме избавил, и не си оставил да тържествуват над мен враговете ми.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

ГОСПОДИ, Боже мой, към Теб извиках и Ти ме изцели.

O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

ГОСПОДИ, Ти си извел душата ми от Шеол; опазил си ме жив, за да не сляза в рова.

Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Пейте псалми на ГОСПОДА, вие, Негови светии, и възхвалявайте паметта на Неговата святост!

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Защото гневът Му е за миг, а благоволението Му е за живот; вечер пренощува плач, а сутринта е радост.

And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

А в благополучието си аз казвах: Няма да се поклатя до века!

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

ГОСПОДИ, с благоволението Си Ти беше укрепил планината ми. Ти скри лицето Си и аз се ужасих.

I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

Към Теб, ГОСПОДИ, извиках и на Господа се помолих:

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

Каква полза от кръвта ми, ако сляза в рова? Прахът ще Те слави ли? Ще възвестява ли Твоята истина?

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

Послушай, ГОСПОДИ, и се смили над мен; ГОСПОДИ, бъди ми помощник!

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Обърнал си плача ми в радост за мен; съблякъл си ми вретището и си ме препасал с радост,

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

за да Те възпява душата ми и да не млъква. ГОСПОДИ, мой Боже, вечно ще Те славя!
