Genesis 14

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;

В дните на сенаарския цар Амарфал, еласарския цар Ариох, еламския цар Ходологомор и гоимския цар Тидал,

That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

те тръгнаха на война против содомския цар Вера, гоморския цар Варса, адманския цар Сенав, цевоимския цар Симовор и царя на Вала, която е Сигор.

All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.

Всички тези се събраха в долината Сидим, където е сега Солено море.

Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

Дванадесет години бяха подчинени на Ходологомор, а в тринадесетата въстанаха.

And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

В четиринадесетата година дойдоха Ходологомор и царете, които бяха с него, и поразиха рафаимите в Астарот-Карнаим, зузимите в Хам, емимите в Сави-Кириатаим,

And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto El–paran, which is by the wilderness.

и хорейците в планината им Сиир, до Ел-Фаран, който е при пустинята.

And they returned, and came to En–mishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezon–tamar.

А като се върнаха, дойдоха в Ен-Мишнат, който е Кадис, и поразиха цялата страна на амаличаните, както и аморейцте, които живееха в Асасон-Тамар.

And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;

Тогава содомският цар, гоморският цар, адманският цар, цевоимският цар и царят на Вала, която е Сигор, излязоха и се опълчиха против тях на бой в долината Сидим:

With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.

против еламския цар Ходологомор, гоимския цар Тидал, сенаарския цар Амарфал и еласарския цар Ариох; четирима царе против петимата.

And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.

А долината Сидим беше пълна със смолни ями; и царете на Содом и Гомора, като бягаха, паднаха в тях, а останалите избягаха в планината.

And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.

И победителите взеха всичкия имот на Содом и Гомора и всичката храна и си отидоха.

And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

Взеха и Аврамовия племенник Лот, който живееше в Содом, заедно с имота му и си отидоха.

And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.

А един от онези, които се избавиха, дойде и съобщи това на евреина Аврам; той живееше при дъбовете на аморееца Мамврий, брат на Есхол и брат на Анер, които бяха съюзници на Аврам.

And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

И когато Аврам чу, че брат му бил пленен, изведе своите триста и осемнадесет обучени мъже, родени в неговия дом, и гони враговете до Дан.

And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

И през нощта той и слугите му, като се разделиха против тях, ги поразиха и ги гониха до Хова, която е отляво на Дамаск.

And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

И възвърна всичкия имот, върна и брат си Лот с имота му, както и жените и народа.

And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.

И като се върна Аврам, след като беше победил Ходологомор и царете, които бяха с него, содомският цар излезе да го посрещне в долината Сави, която е Царската долина.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Така и Мелхиседек, царят на Салим, който беше свещеник на Всевишния Бог, изнесе хляб и вино,

And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

и го благослови, като каза: Благословен да бъде Аврам от Всевишния Бог, Владетел на небето и на земята!

And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Благословен и Всевишният Бог, който предаде враговете ти в ръката ти! И Аврам му даде десятък от всичко.

And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.

А содомският цар каза на Аврам: Дай ми хората, а имота задръж за себе си.

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

Но Аврам каза на содомския цар: Аз вдигнах ръката си пред ГОСПОДА, Всевишния Бог, Владетел на небето и на земята,

That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:

и се заклех, че няма да взема нищо от твоето, нито конец нито ремък за обувки, да не би да кажеш: Аз обогатих Аврам.

Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.

Приемам само онова, което изядоха момчетата; и дела на мъжете които дойдоха с мен: Анер, Есхол и Мамврий — те нека вземат дела си.
