II Samuel 15

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

След това Авесалом си приготви колесници и коне, и петдесет мъже, които тичаха пред него.

And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.

И Авесалом ставаше рано и заставаше отстрани на пътя за портата. И всеки, който имаше дело, за което идваше при царя за съд, Авесалом го извикваше и казваше: Ти от кой град си? А той казваше: Слугата ти е от едно от израилевите племена.

And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.

Тогава Авесалом му казваше: Ето, делото ти е добро и право, но от страна на царя нямаш никого, който да те изслуша.

Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!

И Авесалом казваше: О, да бях поставен аз за съдия на страната, да идва при мен всеки, който има дело или съд, и аз щях да му отдавам правото!

And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.

И когато някой се приближаваше да му се поклони, той простираше ръката си и го хващаше, и го целуваше.

And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

По този начин постъпваше Авесалом с всеки израилтянин, който идваше при царя за съд. Така Авесалом крадеше сърцата на израилевите мъже.

And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.

А като минаха четиридесет години, Авесалом каза на царя: Моля те, нека отида в Хеврон, за да изпълня обрека си, който направих на ГОСПОДА!

For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.

Защото слугата ти направи обрек, докато живееше в Гесур в Арам, и каза: Ако ГОСПОД наистина ме върне в Ерусалим, ще служа на ГОСПОДА!

And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

И царят му каза: Иди с мир. И той стана и отиде в Хеврон.

But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.

А Авесалом изпрати съгледвачи по всичките израилеви племена да кажат: Щом чуете звука на тръбата, да кажете: Авесалом се възцари в Хеврон!

And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.

А с Авесалом отидоха двеста мъже от Ерусалим, които бяха поканени и отидоха в незлобие и не знаеха нищо.

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

После Авесалом изпрати да повикат гилонеца Ахитофел, съветника на Давид, от града му Гило, докато принасяше жертви. И заговорът стана силен и народът при Авесалом непрекъснато се умножаваше.

And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.

Тогава при Давид дойде пратеник и каза: Сърцата на израилевите мъже се обърнаха след Авесалом.

And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

А Давид каза на всичките си слуги, които бяха при него в Ерусалим: Станете да бягаме, защото няма да се избавим от Авесалом. Побързайте да тръгнем, за да не ни настигне внезапно и да докара беда върху нас, и да порази града с острието на меча.

And the king's servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.

Тогава царските слуги казаха на царя: Както избере господарят ми, царят — ето слугите ти!

And the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, which were concubines, to keep the house.

Тогава царят излезе и целият му дом след него. Но царят остави десет наложници да пазят къщата.

And the king went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off.

И царят излезе, и целият народ след него, и спряха при най-далечната къща.

And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.

И всичките му слуги преминаха покрай него, всичките херетци, всичките фелетци и всичките гетци, шестстотин мъже, които бяха дошли след него от Гет, преминаха пред царя.

Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile.

Тогава царят каза на гетеца Итай: Защо идваш и ти с нас? Върни се и остани с царя, защото си чужденец и изгнаник в това място.

Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee.

Ти дойде вчера, и днес да те вдигна да се скиташ с нас? А аз ще отида където отивам. Върни се и заведи обратно и братята си; милост и вярност да бъдат с теб!

And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be.

Но Итай отговори на царя и каза: Жив е ГОСПОД и жив господарят ми, царят — където и да бъде господарят ми, царят, било за смърт, или за живот, там ще бъде и слугата ти!

And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him.

Тогава Давид каза на Итай: Ела и премини. И гетецът Итай премина с всичките си мъже и всичките жени и деца, които бяха с него.

And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.

И цялата земя плачеше със силен глас, докато преминаваше целият народ. И царят също премина потока Кедрон и целият народ премина към пътя за пустинята.

And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city.

И ето, дойде и Садок, и с него всичките левити, и носеха ковчега на Божия завет. И те сложиха Божия ковчег, и Авиатар принасяше жертва, докато целият народ от града премина напълно.

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:

И царят каза на Садок: Върни Божия ковчег в града. Ако намеря благоволение пред ГОСПОДА, Той ще ме върне обратно и ще ми даде да видя и него, и обиталището Му.

But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.

Но ако Той каже така: Нямам благоволение в теб! — ето ме, нека направи с мен, каквото Му се вижда добро!

The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

Царят каза още на свещеника Садок: Ти не си ли гледач? Върни се в града с мир, и двамата ви сина с вас, синът ти Ахимаас и синът на Авиатар, Йонатан.

See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.

Ето, аз ще чакам в подходите на пустинята, докато дойде дума от вас да ми съобщи.

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.

И Садок и Авиатар върнаха Божия ковчег в Ерусалим и останаха там.

And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

А Давид се изкачваше по възвишението на маслините и плачеше, докато се изкачваше, и главата му беше покрита, и вървеше бос. И всичките хора, които бяха с него, бяха покрили всеки главата си и се изкачваха, и плачеха, докато се изкачваха.

And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

И съобщиха на Давид и казаха: Ахитофел е между заговорниците с Авесалом. И Давид каза: ГОСПОДИ, моля Те, осуети съвета на Ахитофел!

And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:

И когато Давид се изкачи на върха, където се покланяха на Бога, ето, архиецът Хусай излезе да го посрещне с раздрана дреха и пръст на главата си.

Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me:

И Давид му каза: Ако продължиш с мен, ще ми бъдеш в тежест,

But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

но ако се върнеш в града и кажеш на Авесалом: Ще ти бъда слуга, царю; както преди бях слуга на баща ти, така сега ще бъда твой слуга! — тогава можеш да ми осуетиш съвета на Ахитофел.

And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

И не са ли там с теб свещениците Садок и Авиатар? Всичко, което чуеш от царския дом, да го съобщиш на свещениците Садок и Авиатар.

Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok's son, and Jonathan Abiathar's son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear.

Ето двамата им сина са там с тях, Ахимаас, синът на Садок и Йонатан, синът на Авиатар. Чрез тях ми изпращайте вест за всичко, което чуете.

So Hushai David's friend came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem.

Тогава Хусай, приятелят на Давид, отиде в града. А Авесалом влезе в Ерусалим.
