Psalms 97

(По слав. 96) ГОСПОД царува! Нека се радва земята, нека се веселят множеството острови!

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Облаци и мрак са около Него, правда и правосъдие са основата на престола Му.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

Огън върви пред Него и изгаря противниците Му отвсякъде.

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

Светкавиците Му осветляват света. Земята видя и потрепери.

His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

Планините се топят като восък от присъствието на ГОСПОДА, от присъствието на Господа на цялата земя.

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Небесата провъзгласяват правдата Му и всичките племена виждат славата Му.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Нека се посрамят всички, които служат на изваяни образи, които се хвалят с идолите. Паднете пред Него, всички богове!

Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

Чу Сион и се развесели и се зарадваха дъщерите на Юда заради Твоите присъди, ГОСПОДИ.

Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

Защото Ти, ГОСПОДИ, си Всевишният над цялата земя, превъзвишен си над всички богове.

For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Мразете злото, вие, които любите ГОСПОДА! Той пази душите на светиите си, избавя ги от ръката на безбожните.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Светлина се сее за праведния и веселие — за правите по сърце.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Веселете се в ГОСПОДА, вие, праведни, и възхвалявайте паметта на Неговата святост!

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
