Psalms 94

(По слав. 93) ГОСПОДИ, Боже на отмъщенията, Боже на отмъщенията, възсияй!

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Възвиши се, Съдия на земята, отдай заслуженото на горделивите!

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Докога безбожните, ГОСПОДИ, докога безбожните ще тържествуват,

LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

ще приказват, ще говорят надменно и всички, които вършат беззаконие, ще се хвалят?

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

Те смазват народа Ти, ГОСПОДИ, и потискат наследството Ти.

They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

Убиват вдовицата и чужденеца и умъртвяват сираците.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

И казват: ГОСПОД не вижда, Богът на Яков не забелязва.

Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Разберете, вие, неразумни между народа! И вие, глупави, кога ще поумнеете?

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

Този, който е направил ухото, няма ли да чуе? Този, който е образувал окото, няма ли да види?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

Този, който наставлява народите, няма ли да порицае? Той е този, който учи човека на знание!

He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

ГОСПОД познава мислите на човека, че те са суета.

The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Блажен онзи човек, когото Ти наставляваш, ГОСПОДИ, и го учиш от закона Си,

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

за да му даваш почивка от дните на злощастието, докато се изкопае ров за безбожния.

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

Защото ГОСПОД няма да отхвърли народа Си и наследството Си няма да остави.

For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Защото съдът ще се върне при правдата и всички, които са с право сърце, ще го последват.

But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

Кой ще стане за мен против злодеите? Кой ще застане за мен против онези, които вършат беззаконие?

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Ако ГОСПОД не ми беше помогнал, душата ми без малко би се заселила в мълчанието.

Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

Когато казах: Кракът ми се подхлъзва! — Твоята милост, ГОСПОДИ, ме подпря.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

Сред множеството грижи на сърцето ми Твоите утешения изпълваха с наслада душата ми.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

Може ли да има нещо общо с Теб престолът на беззаконието, което замисля зло чрез закона?

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

Те се нахвърлят върху душата на праведния и осъждат невинна кръв.

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

Но ГОСПОД е моята висока кула и моят Бог — канарата на прибежището ми.

But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

Той върна беззаконието им обратно върху тях и в злината им ще ги погуби. ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, ще ги погуби.

And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
