Psalms 92

(По слав. 91) Псалм. Песен за съботния ден. Добре е да възхваляваме ГОСПОДА и да възпяваме Твоето Име, Всевишни,

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

да възвестяваме милостта Ти сутрин и верността Ти нощем,

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

с десетострунен инструмент и с арфа, със звучна мелодия на лира.

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

Понеже си ме зарадвал, ГОСПОДИ, с това, което си направил, ще ликувам в делата на ръцете Ти.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Колко са велики делата Ти, ГОСПОДИ! Твоите мисли са много дълбоки.

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Неразумният човек не знае и глупавият не разбира това,

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

че безбожните никнат като трева и всички, които вършат беззаконие, цъфтят, само за да бъдат изтребени навеки.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

Но Ти, ГОСПОДИ, си възвишен във вечността!

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

Защото, ето, враговете Ти, ГОСПОДИ, защото, ето, враговете Ти ще погинат, ще се пръснат всички, които вършат беззаконие.

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Но Ти ще възвисиш рога ми като на дивото говедо; с прясно масло ще бъда помазан

But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

и окото ми ще види повалянето на враговете ми, ушите ми ще чуят за възмездието над злодеите, които се надигат против мен.

Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

Праведният ще поникне като палма, ще расте като кедър в Ливан.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Насадените в дома на ГОСПОДА ще цъфтят в дворовете на нашия Бог.

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Ще са плодоносни и в дълбока старост, ще са сочни и зелени,

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

за да известят, че ГОСПОД е праведен — Моята канара — и в Него няма неправда.

To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
