John 9

И когато минаваше, видя един човек, който беше сляп по рождение.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

И учениците Му Го попитаха, като казаха: Равви, кой е съгрешил – този човек или родителите му, за да се роди сляп?

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

Иисус отговори: Нито този човек, нито родителите му са съгрешили, а за да се явят в него Божиите дела.

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Ние трябва да вършим делата на Този, който Ме е пратил, докато е ден; иде нощ, когато никой не може да работи.

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Докато съм в света, Аз съм светлината на света.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Като каза това, плюна на земята, направи кал с плюнката и намаза с калта очите на слепия;

When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

и му каза: Иди, умий се в къпалнята Силоам, което значи Пратен. И така, той отиде, уми се и дойде прогледнал.

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

А съседите и онези, които го бяха виждали по-рано, че беше просяк, казваха: Не е ли този, който седеше и просеше?

The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

Едни казваха: Той е; други казваха: Прилича на него. Той каза: Аз съм.

Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.

Тогава му казаха: Как ти се отвориха очите?

Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

Той отговори: Човекът, който се нарича Иисус, направи кал, намаза очите ми и ми каза: Иди на Силоам и се умий. И така, отидох и като се умих, прогледнах.

He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

Тогава му казаха: Къде е Той? Каза: Не зная.

Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

Заведоха някогашния слепец при фарисеите.

They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

А беше събота, когато Иисус направи калта и му отвори очите.

And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

И така, фарисеите също го попитаха пак как е прогледнал. И той им каза: Кал сложи на очите ми, умих се и гледам.

Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

Затова някои от фарисеите казваха: Този Човек не е от Бога, защото не пази съботата. А други казваха: Как може грешен човек да върши такива знамения? И възникна разцепление помежду им.

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

Казват пак на слепеца: Ти какво казваш за Него, като ти е отворил очите? И той каза: Пророк е.

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

Но юдеите не вярваха, че той е бил сляп и е прогледнал, докато не повикаха родителите на прогледналия

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

и ги попитаха, казвайки: Този ли е вашият син, за когото казвате, че се е родил сляп? А сега как вижда?

And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?

Родителите в отговор казаха: Знаем, че този е нашият син и че се е родил сляп;

His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:

а как сега вижда, не знаем или кой му е отворил очите, не знаем; него питайте, той е пълнолетен, сам нека говори за себе си.

But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

Tова казаха родителите му, защото се бояха от юдеите; понеже юдеите се бяха споразумели вече помежду си да отлъчат от синагогата онзи, който би Го изповядал като Христос.

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Затова родителите му казаха: Той е пълнолетен, него питайте.

Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.

И така, повикаха втори път човека, който беше сляп, и му казаха: Отдай слава на Бога; ние знаем, че този Човек е грешник.

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.

А той отговори: Дали е грешник, не зная; едно зная – че бях сляп, а сега виждам.

He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Затова му казаха: Какво ти направи? Как ти отвори очите?

Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?

Отговори им: Казах ви вече и не чухте; защо искате пак да чуете? Да не би и вие да искате да Му станете ученици?

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?

Тогава те го изругаха и казаха: Ти си Негов ученик, а ние сме ученици на Мойсей.

Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.

Ние знаем, че на Мойсей Бог е говорил, а Този не знаем откъде е.

We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.

Човекът в отговор им каза: Това е чудно, че вие не знаете откъде е, но Той ми отвори очите.

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.

Знаем, че Бог не слуша грешници, а ако някой се бои от Бога и върши Божията воля, него слуша.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

А пък от началото на света не се е чуло някой да е отворил очите на сляпороден човек.

Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

Ако този Човек не беше от Бога, нямаше да може нищо да направи.

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

Те в отговор му казаха: Ти цял в грехове си роден, и нас ли учиш? И го изпъдиха навън.

They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

Иисус чу, че го изпъдили навън, и като го намери, каза: Ти вярваш ли в Божия Син?

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

Той в отговор каза: А кой е Той, Господине, за да вярвам в Него?

He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

Иисус му каза: И видял си Го, и който говори с теб, Той е.

And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

А той каза: Вярвам, Господи! И Му се поклони.

And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

И Иисус каза: За съд дойдох Аз на този свят: за да виждат невиждащите, а виждащите да ослепеят.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Някои от фарисеите, които бяха с Него, чуха това и Му казаха: Да не сме и ние слепи?

And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

Иисус им каза: Ако бяхте слепи, нямаше да имате грях, но сега казвате, че виждате, и затова грехът ви остава.

Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
