John 18

Като каза това, Иисус излезе с учениците Си отвъд потока Кедрон, където имаше градина, в която влезе Той и учениците Му.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

А Юда, който Го предаде, знаеше това място; защото Иисус често се събираше там с учениците Си.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

И така, Юда, като взе една дружина войници и служители от главните свещеници и фарисеите, дойде там с фенери, факли и оръжия.

Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

А Иисус, като знаеше всичко, което щеше да дойде върху Него, излезе и им каза: Кого търсите?

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

Отговориха Му: Иисус Назарянина. Иисус им каза: Аз съм. А с тях стоеше и Юда, който Го предаваше.

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

И когато им каза: Аз съм, те се дръпнаха назад и паднаха на земята.

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Пак ги попита: Кого търсите? А те казаха: Иисус Назарянина.

Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

Иисус отговори: Казах ви, че съм Аз. И така, ако търсите Мен, оставете тези да си отидат;

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

за да се изпълни думата, казана от Него: От тези, които Ми даде, не изгубих нито един.

That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

А Симон Петър, като имаше меч, го измъкна, удари слугата на първосвещеника и му отсече дясното ухо. Името на слугата беше Малх.

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

Тогава Иисус каза на Петър: Сложй меча в ножницата. Чашата, която Ми даде Отец, да не я ли пия?

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

И така, дружината, хилядникът и юдейските служители хванаха Иисус и Го вързаха.

Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

И Го заведоха първо при Анна, защото той беше тъст на Каяфа, който беше първосвещеник през тази година.

And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

А Каяфа беше онзи, който беше дал на юдеите съвет, че е по-добре един човек да загине за народа.

Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

А Симон Петър и един друг ученик следваха Иисус; и този ученик беше познат на първосвещеника и влезе с Иисус в двора на първосвещеника.

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

А Петър стоеше вън до вратата; и другият ученик, който беше познат на първосвещеника, излезе и говори с вратарката, и въведе Петър.

But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

Тогава слугинята-вратарка каза на Петър: Не си ли и ти от учениците на този Човек? Той каза: Не съм.

Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.

А слугите и служителите бяха наклали огън, защото беше студено, и стояха и се грееха. И Петър стоеше с тях и се грееше.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

А първосвещеникът попита Иисус за учениците Му и за учението Му.

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

Иисус му отговори: Аз говорих открито на света. Винаги поучавах в синагогите и в храма, където юдеите винаги се събират, и нищо не съм говорил скришно.

Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Защо питаш Мен? Питай онези, които са Ме слушали какво съм им говорил; ето, те знаят какво съм казал.

Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

Когато каза това, един от служителите, който стоеше наблизо, удари плесница на Иисус и каза: Така ли отговаряш на първосвещеника?

And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

Иисус му отговори: Ако съм говорил зло, покажи злото; а ако е добро, защо Ме удряш?

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Тогава Анна Го изпрати вързан при първосвещеника Каяфа.

Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

А Симон Петър стоеше и се грееше. И му казаха: Не си ли и ти от Неговите ученици? Той отрече, като каза: Не съм.

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

Един от слугите на първосвещеника, роднина на онзи, на когото Петър отсече ухото, каза: Не те ли видях аз в градината с Него?

One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

И Петър пак се отрече; и начаса пропя петел.

Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

Тогава поведоха Иисус от Каяфа в преторията; а беше рано. Но те самите не влязоха в преторията, за да не се осквернят, за да могат да ядат пасхата.

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

Тогава Пилат излезе при тях и каза: В какво обвинявате този Човек?

Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?

В отговор му казаха: Ако Той не беше злодей, ние нямаше да ти Го предадем.

They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.

А Пилат им каза: Вземете Го вие и Го съдете според вашия закон. Юдеите му казаха: На нас не ни е позволено да убиваме никого;

Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:

за да се изпълни думата, която каза Иисус, като предсказваше с каква смърт щеше да умре.

That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.

Тогава Пилат пак влезе в преторията, повика Иисус и Му каза: Ти ли си юдейският Цар?

Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Иисус му отговори: От себе си ли казваш това, или други са ти казали за Мен?

Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?

Пилат отговори: Че аз юдеин ли съм? Твоят народ и главните свещеници Те предадоха на мен. Какво си направил?

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Иисус отговори: Моето царство не е от този свят; ако беше царството Ми от този свят, служителите Ми щяха да се борят да не бъда предаден на юдеите. Но сега царството Ми не е оттук.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Затова Пилат Му каза: Тогава, Ти Цар ли си? Иисус отговори: Ти казваш, че Аз съм Цар. Аз затова се родих и затова дойдох на света, за да свидетелствам за истината. Всеки, който е от истината, слуша Моя глас.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Пилат Му каза: Що е истина? И като каза това, пак излезе при юдеите и им каза: Аз не намирам никаква вина в Него.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Но при вас има обичай да ви пускам по един на Пасхата. Желаете ли да ви пусна юдейския Цар?

But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

Тогава те всички пак закрещяха, казвайки: Не Този, а Варава. А Варава беше разбойник.

Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
