Deuteronomy 2

И се обърнахме и тръгнахме през пустинята по пътя за Червено море, както ми говори ГОСПОД, и обикаляхме планината Сиир много дни.

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

И ГОСПОД ми говори и каза:

And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

Достатъчно сте обикаляли тази планина; обърнете се на север.

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

И заповядай на народа и кажи: Ще минете през земята на вашите братя, синовете на Исав, които живеят в Сиир, и те ще се уплашат от вас. Затова, внимавайте добре;

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

не се бийте с тях, понеже няма да ви дам от земята им дори и една стъпка, защото дадох планината Сиир на Исав за притежание.

Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

С пари да купувате от тях храна, за да ядете, и с пари да купувате от тях и вода, за да пиете.

Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

Защото ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, те е благословил във всичките дела на ръцете ти. Той познава пътуването ти през тази голяма пустиня. През тези четиридесет години ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, е бил с теб; не ти е липсвало нищо.

For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

Така ние минахме покрай братята си, синовете на Исав, които живеят в Сиир, далеч от пътя на равнината, от Елат и от Есион-Гавер. И се обърнахме, и минахме по пътя за моавската пустиня.

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion–gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

И ГОСПОД ми каза: Не притеснявай Моав и не се бий с него, защото няма да ти дам нищо от земята му за притежание, понеже дадох Ар на синовете на Лот за притежание. —

And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

А преди това там живееха емимите, голям и многоброен народ и висок като енакимите.

The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

И те се считат за великани като енакимите, но моавците ги наричат емими.

Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

А преди това в Сиир живееха хорейците, но синовете на Исав ги изгониха и ги изтребиха пред себе си, и се заселиха на мястото им, така както направи Израил на земята на своето притежание, която ГОСПОД им даде. —

The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

И сега станете и преминете през потока Заред. И преминахме през потока Заред.

Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

А времето, през което пътувахме от Кадис-Варни, докато преминахме потока Заред, беше тридесет и осем години, докато цялото поколение на мъжете, годни за война, се довърши от стана, както ГОСПОД им се закле.

And the space in which we came from Kadesh–barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

При това ръката на ГОСПОДА беше против тях, за да ги изтреби отсред стана, докато се довършат.

For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

И когато всичките мъже, годни за война, се довършиха и измряха отсред народа,

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

ГОСПОД ми говори и каза:

That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

Днес ти ще преминеш Ар, границата на Моав.

Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

И когато дойдеш срещу синовете на Амон, не ги притеснявай и не се бий с тях, защото няма да ти дам нищо от земята на синовете на Амон за притежание, понеже я дадох на синовете на Лот за притежание. —

And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

И тя също се считаше за земя на великаните; преди това там са живеели исполини, но синовете на Амон ги наричат замзумими,

(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

голям и многоброен народ и висок като енакимите. Но ГОСПОД ги изтреби пред тях и те ги изгониха и се заселиха на мястото им,

A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

така както направи за синовете на Исав, които живееха в Сиир, когато изтреби хорейците отпред тях, и те ги изгониха и се заселиха на мястото им и до днес.

As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

И авейциите, които живееха в села чак до Газа, тях ги унищожиха кафторимите, които дойдоха от Кафтор, и се заселиха на мястото им. —

And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

Станете, тръгнете и преминете долината на реката Арнон. Ето, предадох в ръката ти аморееца Сион, цар на Есевон, и земята му; започни, завладей я, и воювай с него.

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

Днес Аз ще започна да всявам страх и ужас от теб сред народите под цялото небе, които ще чуят слуха за теб и ще се разтреперят, и ще се ужасят от теб.

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

И аз изпратих пратеници от пустинята Кедемот до есевонския цар Сион с думи на мир и казах:

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

Нека да мина през земята ти; ще вървя само по пътя, няма да се отбия нито надясно, нито наляво.

Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

С пари ще ми продаваш храна, за да ям, и с пари ще ми даваш вода, за да пия; само с краката си да мина —

Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

както ми направиха синовете на Исав, които живеят в Сиир, и моавците, които живеят в Ар — за да премина през Йордан в земята, която ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, ни дава.

(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

Но есевонският цар Сион не склони да минем през него, понеже ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, ожесточи духа му и закорави сърцето му, за да го предаде в ръката ти, както е днес.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

И ГОСПОД ми каза: Ето, започнах да предавам пред теб Сион и земята му. Започни, завладей я, за да наследиш земята му.

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

Тогава Сион, той и целият му народ, излезе на бой против нас при Яса.

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

Но ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, го предаде в ръцете ни и ние го разбихме — и синовете му, и целия му народ.

And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

И в онова време превзехме всичките му градове и изпълнихме проклятието над всеки град — мъжете, жените и децата; не оставихме нито един оцелял.

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

Само добитъка взехме за себе си като плячка и заграбеното от градовете, които превзехме.

Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

От Ароир, който е на брега на реката Арнон, и от града, който е в долината, чак до Галаад нямаше град, който да ни се съпротиви; ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, предаде всички пред нас.

From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

Само до земята на синовете на Амон ти не се приближи, никъде покрай реката Явок, нито до планинските градове; никъде, където ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, ни беше забранил.

Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
