I Samuel 15

И Самуил каза на Саул: ГОСПОД ме изпрати да те помажа за цар над народа Му, над Израил; затова чуй сега гласа на ГОСПОДНИТЕ думи.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата: Спомних си какво направи Амалик на Израил, как застана на пътя му, когато Израил идваше от Египет.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

Иди сега и разбий Амалик, и изпълни над него проклятието. Не го щади, а убий от мъж до жена, от дете до кърмаче, от говедо до овца, от камила до магаре.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

И Саул свика народа и го преброи в ТелЕм, и беше двеста хиляди пешаци и десет хиляди мъже от Юда.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

И Саул дойде до един град на амаличаните и постави засада в долината.

And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

И Саул каза на кенейците: Идете, отделете се, слезте отсред амаличаните, за да не ви унищожа с тях; защото вие показахте добрина към всичките израилеви синове, когато идваха от Египет. И кенейците се отделиха отсред амаличаните.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

И Саул разби амаличаните от Евила до пътя към Сур, който е срещу Египет.

And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

И хвана жив Агаг, царя на амаличаните, и изпълни проклятието над целия народ с острието на меча.

And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

Но Саул и народът пощадиха Агаг и най-доброто от дребния добитък и говедата, угоените, агнетата и всичко, което беше добро, и не искаха да изпълнят над тях проклятието. А над всичкия добитък, който беше негоден и слаб, над него изпълниха проклятието.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Тогава ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към Самуил и каза:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

Разкаях се, че поставих Саул за цар, понеже той се отвърна след Мен и не изпълнява заповедите Ми. И Самуил се натъжи и вика към ГОСПОДА цяла нощ.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

И на сутринта Самуил стана рано, за да посрещне Саул. И съобщиха на Самуил и казаха: Саул дойде в Кармил, и ето, издигна си паметник и се върна и слезе в Галгал.

And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.

И Самуил дойде при Саул и Саул му каза: Благословен да си от ГОСПОДА! Изпълних ГОСПОДНОТО слово!

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

Но Самуил каза: Какво е тогава това блеене на овце в ушите ми и мучене на говеда, което чувам?

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

А Саул каза: Докараха ги от амаличаните, защото народът пощади най-доброто от овцете и говедата, за да пожертва на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог; а над останалите изпълнихме проклятието.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

Тогава Самуил каза на Саул: Почакай и ще ти кажа какво ми говори ГОСПОД тази нощ. А той му каза: Говори!

Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.

И Самуил каза: Не стана ли ти глава на израилевите племена, когато беше малък в собствените си очи? И ГОСПОД те помаза за цар над Израил.

And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

И ГОСПОД те изпрати на път и каза: Иди и изпълни проклятието над грешниците, амаличаните, и воювай срещу тях, докато ги унищожиш.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

Защо тогава ти не послуша ГОСПОДНИЯ глас, а се нахвърли върху плячката и извърши зло пред ГОСПОДА?

Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

А Саул каза на Самуил: Аз послушах ГОСПОДНИЯ глас и отидох по пътя, по който ГОСПОД ме изпрати, и доведох Агаг, царя на амаличаните, и изпълних проклятието над амаличаните.

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Но народът взе от плячката овце и говеда, най-добрите от поставеното под проклятие, за да пожертва на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог, в Галгал.

But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

И Самуил каза: ГОСПОД наслаждава ли се на всеизгарянията и жертвите колкото на послушанието на ГОСПОДНИЯ глас? Ето, послушанието е по-добро от жертвата и покорството — от тлъстината на овни.

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Защото непокорството е като греха на окултизма и упорството — като безбожие и идолопоклонство. Понеже ти отхвърли ГОСПОДНОТО слово, и Той отхвърли теб като цар.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Тогава Саул каза на Самуил: Съгреших, че престъпих заповедта на ГОСПОДА и твоите думи, защото се уплаших от народа и послушах гласа му.

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

И сега прости, моля те, греха ми и се върни с мен, за да се поклоня на ГОСПОДА.

Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

Но Самуил каза на Саул: Няма да се върна с теб, защото ти отхвърли ГОСПОДНОТО слово и ГОСПОД отхвърли теб като цар на Израил.

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

И когато Самуил се обърна, за да си отиде, Саул сграбчи края на мантията му и той се откъсна.

And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.

Тогава Самуил му каза: Днес ГОСПОД откъсна израилевото царство от теб и го даде на ближния ти, който е по-добър от теб.

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.

А и Силният на Израил няма да излъже и няма да се разкае, защото Той не е човек, че да се разкайва.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

А той каза: Съгреших; но почети ме сега, моля те, пред старейшините на народа ми и пред Израил и се върни с мен, за да се поклоня на ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог.

Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.

И Самуил се върна след Саул и Саул се поклони на ГОСПОДА.

So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the LORD.

Тогава Самуил каза: Доведете ми тук Агаг, царя на амаличаните. И Агаг дойде при него весело и Агаг си казваше: Положително горчивината на смъртта е отминала.

Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

Но Самуил каза: Както мечът ти е обезчадил жени, така и твоята майка да се обезчади между жените! И Самуил съсече Агаг пред ГОСПОДА в Галгал.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

И Самуил отиде в Рама, а Саул отиде в дома си в Гавая Саулова.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

И Самуил не видя повече Саул до деня на смъртта си, но Саумил скърбеше за Саул; а ГОСПОД се разкая, че беше направил Саул цар над Израил.

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
