I Kings 8

Тогава Соломон събра старейшините на Израил и всичките глави на племената, първенците на бащините домове на израилевите синове при цар Соломон в Ерусалим, за да пренесат ковчега на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет от Давидовия град, който е Сион.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

И всичките израилеви мъже се събраха при цар Соломон на празника в месец Етаним, който е седмият месец.

And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Дойдоха всичките старейшини на Израил и свещениците вдигнаха ковчега,

And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

и пренесоха ГОСПОДНИЯ ковчег и шатъра за срещане, и всичките свети принадлежности, които бяха в шатъра; свещениците и левитите ги пренесоха.

And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

И цар Соломон и цялото израилево общество, което се беше събрало при него и беше с него пред ковчега, жертваха овце и говеда, които поради множеството си не можеха да се пресметнат или изброят.

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

И свещениците донесоха ковчега на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет на мястото му, във вътрешната зала на дома, в Пресвятото място, под крилете на херувимите;

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

защото херувимите простираха криле над мястото на ковчега и херувимите покриваха отгоре ковчега и прътовете му.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

А прътовете бяха толкова дълги, че краищата на прътовете се виждаха от святото място пред вътрешната зала, а навън не се виждаха. И те са там и до днес.

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

В ковчега нямаше нищо друго освен двете каменни плочи, които Мойсей сложи там на Хорив, където ГОСПОД направи завет с израилевите синове, когато те излязоха от египетската земя.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

И когато свещениците излязоха от святото място, облакът изпълни ГОСПОДНИЯ дом;

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

и свещениците не можеха да пристъпят да служат заради облака, понеже ГОСПОДНАТА слава изпълваше ГОСПОДНИЯ дом.

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Тогава Соломон каза: ГОСПОД е казал, че ще обитава в мрак.

Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Построих Ти извисен дом, място, в което да обитаваш до века.

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

И царят обърна лицето си и благослови цялото израилево събрание, а цялото израилево събрание стоеше.

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

И каза: Благословен да бъде ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог, който говори с устата Си на баща ми Давид и го изпълни с ръката Си, като каза:

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

От деня, когато изведох народа Си Израил от Египет, Аз не избрах град от всичките израилеви племена, където да се построи дом, за да бъде там Името Ми, но избрах Давид да бъде над народа Ми Израил.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

И на сърцето на баща ми Давид беше да построи дом за Името на ГОСПОДА, Израилевия Бог.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

Но ГОСПОД каза на баща ми Давид: Това, че ти беше на сърцето да построиш дом за Името Ми, направи добре, че това беше в сърцето ти.

And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

Но няма ти да построиш дома, а синът ти, който ще излезе от семенниците ти; той ще построи дома за Името Ми.

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

И ГОСПОД изпълни думата Си, която говори; и аз се издигнах на мястото на баща си Давид и седнах на израилевия престол, както ГОСПОД говори, и построих дома за Името на ГОСПОДА, Израилевия Бог.

And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

И приготвих там място за ковчега, в който е заветът на ГОСПОДА, който Той направи с бащите ни, когато ги изведе от египетската земя.

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

Тогава Соломон застана пред ГОСПОДНИЯ олтар пред цялото израилево събрание и разтвори ръцете си към небето,

And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

и каза: ГОСПОДИ, Боже Израилев, нито на небето горе, нито на земята долу има Бог като Теб, който пазиш завета и милостта за слугите Си, които ходят пред Теб с цялото си сърце,

And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

който си изпълнил към слугата Си Давид, баща ми, това, което си му обещал! С устата Си си го говорил и с ръката Си си го изпълнил, както е днес.

Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

И сега, ГОСПОДИ, Боже Израилев, изпълни към слугата Си Давид, баща ми, каквото си му обещал, като си казал: Няма да ти липсва мъж пред Мен, който да седи на израилевия престол, ако само синовете ти внимават в пътя си, да ходят пред Мен, както ти си ходил пред Мен.

Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

И сега, Боже Израилев, моля Те, нека се утвърди словото Ти, което си говорил на слугата Си Давид, баща ми!

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

Но наистина ли Бог ще обитава на земята? Ето, небесата и небесата на небесата не могат да Те поберат — колко по-малко този дом, който аз построих!

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

Но обърни внимание на молитвата на слугата Си и на молбата му, ГОСПОДИ, Боже мой, за да послушаш вика и молитвата, с която слугата Ти се моли днес пред Теб,

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

за да бъдат очите Ти отворени ден и нощ към този дом, към мястото, за което си казал: Там ще бъде Името Ми! — за да слушаш молитвата, с която слугата Ти се моли към това място.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

И послушай молбата на слугата Си и на народа Си Израил, когато се молят към това място. Чуй на мястото, където обитаваш, в небето; чуй и прости!

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Ако някой съгреши против ближния си и му наложат клетва и го накарат да се закълне, и клетвата дойде пред Твоя олтар в този дом,

If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:

тогава Ти чуй в небето и подействай, и отсъди за слугите Си, като осъдиш злия и докараш пътя му върху главата му, а оправдаеш праведния и му отдадеш според правдата му!

Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

Когато Твоят народ Израил бъде разбит пред врага, защото са съгрешили против Теб; ако се обърнат към Теб и прославят Името Ти, и се помолят, и отправят молба към Теб в този дом,

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

тогава Ти чуй в небето и прости греха на Своя народ Израил, и ги върни в земята, която си дал на бащите им!

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

Когато небето се затвори и няма дъжд, понеже са съгрешили против Теб; и се помолят към това място и прославят Името Ти, и се обърнат от греха си, понеже ги смиряваш,

When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

тогава Ти чуй в небето и прости греха на слугите Си и на народа Си Израил, като им покажеш добрия път, по който трябва да ходят, и дай дъжд на земята Си, която си дал на народа си за наследство!

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

Когато настане глад в земята, когато има мор, когато има главня и мана, когато има скакалци или гъсеници, когато врагът им ги обсади в земята на градовете им — каквато и язва, каквато и болест да има —

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

каквато и молитва или молба да се принесе от някой човек или от целия Ти народ Израил, когато всеки познае раната на сърцето си и простре ръцете си към този дом,

What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

тогава Ти чуй в небето, в мястото, където обитаваш, и прости, и подействай, и отдай на всекиго според всичките му пътища, като познаваш сърцето му — защото Ти, само Ти познаваш сърцата на всички човешки синове —

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

за да Ти се боят през всичките дни, когато живеят в земята, която си дал на бащите ни!

That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

Също и за чужденеца, който не е от народа Ти Израил, но идва от далечна страна заради Името Ти —

Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;

защото ще чуят за Твоето велико Име и за Твоята мощна ръка, и за Твоята издигната мишца — когато дойде и се помоли към този дом,

(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

тогава Ти чуй в небето, в мястото, където обитаваш, и направи според всичко, за което чужденецът извика към Теб; за да познаят всичките народи на земята Името Ти, за да Ти се боят както Твоят народ Израил и да познаят, че с Твоето Име се нарича този дом, който построих!

Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

Когато народът Ти излезе на бой срещу врага си по пътя, по който го изпратиш, и се помолят на ГОСПОДА към града, който Ти си избрал, и дома, който построих за Името Ти,

If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name:

тогава чуй в небето молитвата им и молбата им и защити правото им!

Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

Когато съгрешат против Теб — защото няма човек, който да не греши — и Ти им се разгневиш, и ги предадеш на врага и онези, които ги пленяват, ги отведат пленени в земята на врага, далечна или близка;

If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

и те вземат това присърце в земята, където са отведени в плен, и се обърнат и отправят молба към Теб в земята на онези, които са ги пленили, и кажат: Съгрешихме, извършихме беззаконие, постъпихме безбожно! —

Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

и ако се обърнат към Теб с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа в земята на враговете си, които са ги отвели в плен, и Ти се помолят към земята си, която си дал на бащите им, към града, който си избрал, и дома, който построих за Името Ти,

And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

тогава чуй в небето, в мястото, където обитаваш, молитвата им и молбата им и защити правото им;

Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

и прости на народа Си, каквото са съгрешили против Теб, и всичките им престъпления, с които са престъпили против Теб, и им дай да намерят милост пред онези, които са ги пленили, за да се смилят над тях,

And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

защото са Твой народ и Твое наследство, което си извел от Египет, отсред желязната пещ!

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

И нека очите Ти бъдат отворени за молбата на слугата Ти и за молбата на народа Ти Израил, за да ги слушаш, за каквото и да Те призоват,

That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

защото Ти си ги отделил от всичките народи на земята за Свое наследство, както си говорил чрез слугата Си Мойсей, когато си извел бащите ни от Египет, Господи БОЖЕ!

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

И когато Соломон свърши да принася цялата тази молитва и молба към ГОСПОДА, той стана отпред ГОСПОДНИЯ олтар, където беше коленичил с ръцете си разтворени към небето.

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

И той застана и благослови с висок глас цялото израилево събрание, и каза:

And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,

Благословен да бъде ГОСПОД, който даде спокойствие на народа Си Израил, според всичко, което беше обещал. Нито една дума не пропадна от всичките Му добри думи, които говори чрез слугата Си Мойсей.

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, да бъде с нас, както е бил с бащите ни, да не ни остави и да не ни отхвърли,

The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:

за да наклони сърцата ни към Себе Си, за да ходим във всичките Му пътища и да пазим заповедите Му и наредбите Му, и правилата Му, които е заповядал на бащите ни!

That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

И тези мои думи, с които отправих молба пред ГОСПОДА, нека бъдат близо до ГОСПОДА, нашия Бог, ден и нощ, за да защитава правото на слугата Си и правото на народа Си Израил според нуждата за всеки ден,

And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:

за да познаят всичките народи на земята, че ГОСПОД е Бог и няма друг!

That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

Затова нека сърцата ви бъдат неразделени към ГОСПОДА, нашия Бог, да ходите в наредбите Му и да пазите заповедите Му, както е днес.

Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

Тогава царят и целият Израил с него принесоха жертви пред ГОСПОДА.

And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.

И Соломон принесе за примирителна жертва, която пожертва на ГОСПОДА, двадесет и две хиляди говеда и сто и двадесет хиляди овце. Така царят и всичките израилеви синове посветиха ГОСПОДНИЯ дом.

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.

В същия ден царят освети средата на двора, който беше пред ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, защото там принесе всеизгарянето и хлебния принос, и тлъстината на примирителните жертви, понеже бронзовият олтар, който беше пред ГОСПОДА, беше прекалено малък, за да побере всеизгарянето и хлебния принос, и тлъстината на примирителните жертви.

The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

И в онова време Соломон и целият Израил с него, голямо събрание, от прохода на Емат до Египетския поток, направиха празника на колибите пред ГОСПОДА, нашия Бог, за седем дни и още седем дни, общо четиринадесет дни.

And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.

На осмия ден разпусна народа и те благословиха царя и си отидоха в шатрите си радостни и с весело сърце заради цялото добро, което ГОСПОД беше показал към слугата Си Давид и към народа Си Израил.

On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
