Psalms 97

رب بادشاہ ہے! زمین جشن منائے، ساحلی علاقے دُور دُور تک خوش ہوں۔

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

وہ بادلوں اور گہرے اندھیرے سے گھرا رہتا ہے، راستی اور انصاف اُس کے تخت کی بنیاد ہیں۔

Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

آگ اُس کے آگے آگے بھڑک کر چاروں طرف اُس کے دشمنوں کو بھسم کر دیتی ہے۔

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

اُس کی کڑکتی بجلیوں نے دنیا کو روشن کر دیا تو زمین یہ دیکھ کر پیچ و تاب کھانے لگی۔

His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

رب کے آگے آگے، ہاں پوری دنیا کے مالک کے آگے آگے پہاڑ موم کی طرح پگھل گئے۔

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

آسمانوں نے اُس کی راستی کا اعلان کیا، اور تمام قوموں نے اُس کا جلال دیکھا۔

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

تمام بُت پرست، ہاں سب جو بُتوں پر فخر کرتے ہیں شرمندہ ہوں۔ اے تمام معبودو، اُسے سجدہ کرو!

Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

کوہِ صیون سن کر خوش ہوا۔ اے رب، تیرے فیصلوں کے باعث یہوداہ کی بیٹیاں باغ باغ ہوئیں۔

Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

کیونکہ تُو اے رب، پوری دنیا پر سب سے اعلیٰ ہے، تُو تمام معبودوں سے سربلند ہے۔

For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

تم جو رب سے محبت رکھتے ہو، بُرائی سے نفرت کرو! رب اپنے ایمان داروں کی جان کو محفوظ رکھتا ہے، وہ اُنہیں بےدینوں کے قبضے سے چھڑاتا ہے۔

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

راست باز کے لئے نور کا اور دل کے دیانت داروں کے لئے شادمانی کا بیج بویا گیا ہے۔

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

اے راست بازو، رب سے خوش ہو، اُس کے مُقدّس نام کی ستائش کرو۔

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
