Psalms 146

رب کی حمد ہو! اے میری جان، رب کی حمد کر۔

Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

جیتے جی مَیں رب کی ستائش کروں گا، عمر بھر اپنے خدا کی مدح سرائی کروں گا۔

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

شرفا پر بھروسا نہ رکھو، نہ آدم زاد پر جو نجات نہیں دے سکتا۔

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

جب اُس کی روح نکل جائے تو وہ دوبارہ خاک میں مل جاتا ہے، اُسی وقت اُس کے منصوبے ادھورے رہ جاتے ہیں۔

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

مبارک ہے وہ جس کا سہارا یعقوب کا خدا ہے، جو رب اپنے خدا کے انتظار میں رہتا ہے۔

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

کیونکہ اُس نے آسمان و زمین، سمندر اور جو کچھ اُن میں ہے بنایا ہے۔ وہ ہمیشہ تک وفادار ہے۔

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

وہ مظلوموں کا انصاف کرتا اور بھوکوں کو روٹی کھلاتا ہے۔ رب قیدیوں کو آزاد کرتا ہے۔

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

رب اندھوں کی آنکھیں بحال کرتا اور خاک میں دبے ہوؤں کو اُٹھا کھڑا کرتا ہے، رب راست باز کو پیار کرتا ہے۔

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

رب پردیسیوں کی دیکھ بھال کرتا، یتیموں اور بیواؤں کو قائم رکھتا ہے۔ لیکن وہ بےدینوں کی راہ کو ٹیڑھا بنا کر کامیاب ہونے نہیں دیتا۔

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

رب ابد تک حکومت کرے گا۔ اے صیون، تیرا خدا پشت در پشت بادشاہ رہے گا۔ رب کی حمد ہو۔

The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
