Для дириґетна хору. На спів: „Лілея свідчення". Золотий псалом Давидів для навчання,

O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

коли він підпалив був Арам двух річок і Арам Цови, і вернувся Йоав і побив Едома в Соляній долині, дванадцять тисяч.

Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Боже, покинув Ти нас, розпорошив Ти нас, Ти нагнівався був, повернися ж до нас!

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

Ти землею затряс, і її розірвав, уздоров же уламки її, бо вона захиталась!

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

Ти вчинив, що народ Твій побачив тяжке, напоїв нас отрутним вином...

That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

Ти дав прапора тим, хто боїться Тебе, щоб збирались вони перед правдою. Села.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

Щоб любі Твої були визволені, Своєю правицею допоможи, й обізвися до нас!

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

У святині Своїй Бог промовив: Нехай розвеселюсь, розділю Я Сихем і долину Суккотську поміряю!

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

Належить Мені Ґілеад, Мені Манасія, а Єфрем охорона Моїй голові, Юда берло Моє.

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

Моав то мідниця Мого миття, на Едом узуттям Своїм кину, филистею, вигукуй для Мене із радістю!

Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

Хто мене запровадить до міста твердинного, хто до Едому мене попровадить?

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Хіба ж Ти покинув нас, Боже, і серед нашого війська не вийдеш вже, Боже? Подай же нам поміч на ворога, людська бо поміч марнота! Ми мужність виявимо в Бозі, і Він потопче противників наших!

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
