Psalms 76

Yahuda’da Tanrı bilinir, İsrail’de adı uludur;

In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.

Konutu Şalem’dedir, Yaşadığı yer Siyon’da.

In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

Orada kırdı alevli okları, Kalkanı, kılıcı, savaş silahlarını. Sela

There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

Işıl ışıl parıldıyorsun, Avı bol dağlardan daha görkemli.

Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

Yağmaya uğradı yiğitler, Uykularına daldılar, En güçlüleri bile elini kıpırdatamaz oldu.

The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

Ey Yakup’un Tanrısı, sen kükreyince, Atlarla atlılar son uykularına daldılar.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Yalnız sensin korkulması gereken, Öfkelenince kim durabilir karşında?

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

Yargını göklerden açıkladın, Yeryüzü korkup sessizliğe büründü,

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

Ey Tanrı, sen yargılamaya, Ülkedeki mazlumları kurtarmaya kalkınca. Sela

When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

İnsanların gazabı bile sana övgüler doğuruyor, Gazabından kurtulanları çevrene topluyorsun.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

Adaklar adayın Tanrınız RAB’be, Yerine getirin adaklarınızı, Armağanlar sunun korkulması gereken Tanrı’ya, Bütün çevresindekiler.

Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

RAB önderlerin soluğunu keser, Korku salar yeryüzü krallarına.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
