How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

Codicia y aun ardientemente desea mi alma los atrios de JEHOVÁ: Mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Aun el gorrión halla casa, Y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus pollos En tus altares, oh JEHOVÁ de los ejércitos, Rey mío, y Dios mío.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu casa: Perpetuamente te alabarán (Selah.)

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Bienaventurado el hombre que tiene su fortaleza en ti; En cuyo corazón están tus caminos.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Atravesando el valle de Baca pónenle por fuente, Cuando la lluvia llena los estanques.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Irán de fortaleza en fortaleza, Verán á Dios en Sión.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

JEHOVÁ Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración: Escucha, oh Dios de Jacob (Selah.)

O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Mira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, Y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos: Escogería antes estar á la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, Que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Porque sol y escudo es JEHOVÁ Dios: Gracia y gloria dará JEHOVÁ: No quitará el bien á los que en integridad andan.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

JEHOVÁ de los ejércitos, Dichoso el hombre que en ti confía.

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
