Psalms 96

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

رب کی تمجید میں نیا گیت گاؤ، اے پوری دنیا، رب کی مدح سرائی کرو۔

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

رب کی تمجید میں گیت گاؤ، اُس کے نام کی ستائش کرو، روز بہ روز اُس کی نجات کی خوش خبری سناؤ۔

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

قوموں میں اُس کا جلال اور تمام اُمّتوں میں اُس کے عجائب بیان کرو۔

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

کیونکہ رب عظیم اور ستائش کے بہت لائق ہے۔ وہ تمام معبودوں سے مہیب ہے۔

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

کیونکہ دیگر قوموں کے تمام معبود بُت ہی ہیں جبکہ رب نے آسمان کو بنایا۔

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

اُس کے حضور شان و شوکت، اُس کے مقدِس میں قدرت اور جلال ہے۔

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

اے قوموں کے قبیلو، رب کی تمجید کرو، رب کے جلال اور قدرت کی ستائش کرو۔

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

رب کے نام کو جلال دو۔ قربانی لے کر اُس کی بارگاہوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ۔

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

مُقدّس لباس سے آراستہ ہو کر رب کو سجدہ کرو۔ پوری دنیا اُس کے سامنے لرز اُٹھے۔

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

قوموں میں اعلان کرو، ”رب ہی بادشاہ ہے! یقیناً دنیا مضبوطی سے قائم ہے اور نہیں ڈگمگائے گی۔ وہ انصاف سے قوموں کی عدالت کرے گا۔“

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

آسمان خوش ہو، زمین جشن منائے! سمندر اور جو کچھ اُس میں ہے خوشی سے گرج اُٹھے۔

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

میدان اور جو کچھ اُس میں ہے باغ باغ ہو۔ پھر جنگل کے درخت شادیانہ بجائیں گے۔

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

وہ رب کے سامنے شادیانہ بجائیں گے، کیونکہ وہ آ رہا ہے، وہ دنیا کی عدالت کرنے آ رہا ہے۔ وہ انصاف سے دنیا کی عدالت کرے گا اور اپنی صداقت سے اقوام کا فیصلہ کرے گا۔
