Psalms 113

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

رب کی حمد ہو! اے رب کے خادمو، رب کے نام کی ستائش کرو، رب کے نام کی تعریف کرو۔

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

رب کے نام کی اب سے ابد تک تمجید ہو۔

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.

طلوعِ صبح سے غروبِ آفتاب تک رب کے نام کی حمد ہو۔

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

رب تمام اقوام سے سربلند ہے، اُس کا جلال آسمان سے عظیم ہے۔

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,

کون رب ہمارے خدا کی مانند ہے جو بلندیوں پر تخت نشین ہے

Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

اور آسمان و زمین کو دیکھنے کے لئے نیچے جھکتا ہے؟

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

پست حال کو وہ خاک میں سے اُٹھا کر پاؤں پر کھڑا کرتا، محتاج کو راکھ سے نکال کر سرفراز کرتا ہے۔

That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

وہ اُسے شرفا کے ساتھ، اپنی قوم کے شرفا کے ساتھ بٹھا دیتا ہے۔

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

بانجھ کو وہ اولاد عطا کرتا ہے تاکہ وہ گھر میں خوشی سے زندگی گزار سکے۔ رب کی حمد ہو!
