Psalms 112

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

رب کی حمد ہو! مبارک ہے وہ جو اللہ کا خوف مانتا اور اُس کے احکام سے بہت لطف اندوز ہوتا ہے۔

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

اُس کے فرزند ملک میں طاقت ور ہوں گے، اور دیانت دار کی نسل کو برکت ملے گی۔

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

دولت اور خوش حالی اُس کے گھر میں رہے گی، اور اُس کی راست بازی ابد تک قائم رہے گی۔

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

اندھیرے میں چلتے وقت دیانت داروں پر روشنی چمکتی ہے۔ وہ راست باز، مہربان اور رحیم ہے۔

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

مہربانی کرنا اور قرض دینا بابرکت ہے۔ جو اپنے معاملوں کو انصاف سے حل کرے وہ اچھا کرے گا،

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

کیونکہ وہ ابد تک نہیں ڈگمگائے گا۔ راست باز ہمیشہ ہی یاد رہے گا۔

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

وہ بُری خبر ملنے سے نہیں ڈرتا۔ اُس کا دل مضبوط ہے، اور وہ رب پر بھروسا رکھتا ہے۔

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

اُس کا دل مستحکم ہے۔ وہ سہما ہوا نہیں رہتا، کیونکہ وہ جانتا ہے کہ ایک دن مَیں اپنے دشمنوں کی شکست دیکھ کر خوش ہوں گا۔

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

وہ فیاضی سے ضرورت مندوں میں خیرات بکھیر دیتا ہے۔ اُس کی راست بازی ہمیشہ قائم رہے گی، اور اُسے عزت کے ساتھ سرفراز کیا جائے گا۔

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

بےدین یہ دیکھ کر ناراض ہو جائے گا، وہ دانت پیس پیس کر نیست ہو جائے گا۔ جو کچھ بےدین چاہتے ہیں وہ جاتا رہے گا۔
