Nehemiah 10

Now those that sealed were, Nehemiah, the Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah,

ذیل کے لوگوں نے دست خط کئے۔ گورنر نحمیاہ بن حکلیاہ، صِدقیاہ،

Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

سرایاہ، عزریاہ، یرمیاہ،

Pashur, Amariah, Malchijah,

فشحور، امریاہ، ملکیاہ،

Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

حطّوش، سبنیاہ، ملّوک،

Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

حارِم، مریموت، عبدیاہ،

Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

دانیال، جِنّتون، باروک،

Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

مسُلّام، ابیاہ، میامین،

Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests.

معزیاہ، بِلجی اور سمعیاہ۔ سرایاہ سے لے کر سمعیاہ تک امام تھے۔

And the Levites: both Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

پھر ذیل کے لاویوں نے دست خط کئے۔ یشوع بن ازنیاہ، حنداد کے خاندان کا بِنّوئی، قدمی ایل،

And their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

اُن کے بھائی سبنیاہ، ہودیاہ، قلیطا، فِلایاہ، حنان،

Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,

میکا، رحوب، حسبیاہ،

Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

زکور، سربیاہ، سبنیاہ،

Hodijah, Bani, Beninu.

ہودیاہ، بانی اور بنینو۔

The chief of the people; Parosh, Pahath–moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani,

اِن کے بعد ذیل کے قومی بزرگوں نے دست خط کئے۔ پرعوس، پخت موآب، عیلام، زتّو، بانی

Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

بُنی، عزجاد، ببی،

Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,

ادونیاہ، بِگوَئی، عدین،

Ater, Hizkijah, Azzur,

اطیر، حِزقیاہ، عزور،

Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai,

ہودیاہ، حاشوم، بضی،

Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

خارِف، عنتوت، نیبی،

Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,

مگفیعاس، مسُلّام، حزیر

Meshezabeel, Zadok, Jaddua,

مشیزب ایل، صدوق، یدّوع،

Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,

فلطیاہ، حنان، عنایاہ،

Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub,

ہوسیع، حننیاہ، حسوب،

Hallohesh, Pileha, Shobek,

ہلّوحیش، فِلحا، سوبیق،

Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,

رحوم، حسبناہ، معسیاہ،

And Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,

اخیاہ، حنان، عنان،

Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

ملّوک، حارِم اور بعنہ۔

And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;

قوم کے باقی لوگ بھی عہد میں شریک ہوئے یعنی باقی امام، لاوی، رب کے گھر کے دربان اور خدمت گار، گلوکار، نیز سب جو غیریہودی قوموں سے الگ ہو گئے تھے تاکہ رب کی شریعت کی پیروی کریں۔ اُن کی بیویاں اور وہ بیٹے بیٹیاں بھی شریک ہوئے جو عہد کو سمجھ سکتے تھے۔

They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

اپنے بزرگ بھائیوں کے ساتھ مل کر اُنہوں نے قَسم کھا کر وعدہ کیا، ”ہم اُس شریعت کی پیروی کریں گے جو اللہ نے ہمیں اپنے خادم موسیٰ کی معرفت دی ہے۔ ہم احتیاط سے رب اپنے آقا کے تمام احکام اور ہدایات پر عمل کریں گے۔“

And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:

نیز، اُنہوں نے قَسم کھا کر وعدہ کیا، ”ہم اپنے بیٹے بیٹیوں کی شادی غیریہودیوں سے نہیں کرائیں گے۔

And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

جب غیریہودی ہمیں سبت کے دن یا رب کے لئے مخصوص کسی اَور دن اناج یا کوئی اَور مال بیچنے کی کوشش کریں تو ہم کچھ نہیں خریدیں گے۔ ہر ساتویں سال ہم زمین کی کھیتی باڑی نہیں کریں گے اور تمام قرضے منسوخ کریں گے۔

Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;

ہم سالانہ رب کے گھر کی خدمت کے لئے چاندی کا چھوٹا سِکہ دیں گے۔ اِس خدمت میں ذیل کی چیزیں شامل ہیں:

For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

اللہ کے لئے مخصوص روٹی، غلہ کی نذر اور بھسم ہونے والی وہ قربانیاں جو روزانہ پیش کی جاتی ہیں، سبت کے دن، نئے چاند کی عید اور باقی عیدوں پر پیش کی جانے والی قربانیاں، خاص مُقدّس قربانیاں، اسرائیل کا کفارہ دینے والی گناہ کی قربانیاں، اور ہمارے خدا کے گھر کا ہر کام۔

And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:

ہم نے قرعہ ڈال کر مقرر کیا ہے کہ اماموں، لاویوں اور باقی قوم کے کون کون سے خاندان سال میں کن کن مقررہ موقعوں پر رب کے گھر میں لکڑی پہنچائیں۔ یہ لکڑی ہمارے خدا کی قربان گاہ پر قربانیاں جلانے کے لئے استعمال کی جائے گی، جس طرح شریعت میں لکھا ہے۔

And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:

ہم سالانہ اپنے کھیتوں اور درختوں کا پہلا پھل رب کے گھر میں پہنچائیں گے۔

Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:

جس طرح شریعت میں درج ہے، ہم اپنے پہلوٹھوں کو رب کے گھر میں لا کر اللہ کے لئے مخصوص کریں گے۔ گائےبَیلوں اور بھیڑبکریوں کے پہلے بچے ہم خدمت گزار اماموں کو قربان کرنے کے لئے دیں گے۔

And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

اُنہیں ہم سال کے پہلے غلہ سے گوندھا ہوا آٹا، اپنے درختوں کا پہلا پھل، اپنی نئی مَے اور زیتون کے نئے تیل کا پہلا حصہ دے کر رب کے گھر کے گوداموں میں پہنچائیں گے۔ دیہات میں ہم لاویوں کو اپنی فصلوں کا دسواں حصہ دیں گے، کیونکہ وہی دیہات میں یہ حصہ جمع کرتے ہیں۔

And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

دسواں حصہ ملتے وقت کوئی امام یعنی ہارون کے خاندان کا کوئی مرد لاویوں کے ساتھ ہو گا، اور لاوی مال کا دسواں حصہ ہمارے خدا کے گھر کے گوداموں میں پہنچائیں گے۔

For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

عام لوگ اور لاوی وہاں غلہ، نئی مَے اور زیتون کا تیل لائیں گے۔ اِن کمروں میں مقدِس کی خدمت کے لئے درکار تمام سامان محفوظ رکھا جائے گا۔ اِس کے علاوہ وہاں اماموں، دربانوں اور گلوکاروں کے کمرے ہوں گے۔ ہم اپنے خدا کے گھر میں تمام فرائض سرانجام دینے میں غفلت نہیں برتیں گے۔“
